  • Self checkout kiosk

    Update: Still doesn’t work properly. We miss out on retail sales because members think they’re properly checking out however the purchase doesn’t actually go through. Better to not use it and have members self checkout in our store by writing down items on paper. Also, ZP has replied to me that there is a Zen Planner Kiosk App available to download, however that doesn’t exist.

    Many bugs with the self checkout kiosk. Freezing, server errors, duplicate purchases, missed purchases, unable to look up existing member, etc. Have been in talks with customer support, but no fix yet. Have to discontinue use until there’s a properly functioning app. Extremely disappointed they discontinued the previous kiosk app since it actually worked and now I can’t reinstall.

  • Broken waiver process

    Waiver signature screen just spins.
  • Lots of bugs

    App flips upsidedown when opened. Screen flickers for several seconds when selecting a different class. Sometimes it just simply doesnt work requiring a reset.
  • Hard to use

    Not a great app, as a coach I find myself spending too much time resetting passwords(for which their password requirements are ridiculous for a fitness app) and fumbling with the menu

  • Next to worthless

    Being able to handle your business remotely is essential anymore. This app is only good for my coaches who are checking students in. Outside of that there is no functionality.

    I’m pretty sure they only added a retail button to say they have it. You can’t apply discounts, you can’t make changes, it is absolutely trash.

    When I brought issues to Zen they just gave me a short bullet point of the “functions” As if they were trying to sell me on how great it is. They didn’t address any of my issues. And the functions that they are so proud of do not integrate with one another.

    I have never been so disappointed in the product. It’s an embarrassment. I look forward to transferring my entire system to MindBody.

  • Disappointing lack of features

    What this app provides is basically the calendar equivalent of a read-only document. I expected much more, at least the ability to schedule an appointment while I'm viewing the schedule. How hard would that have been? That glaring weakness makes this app nearly useless.
  • Broken

    The app doesn’t even open.
  • Logging out

    Seems like since the last update the app keeps making me log in every single time. Makes the check in process difficult. Will this be changing back? I want to stay logged in unless I log out.
  • Doesn’t work

    I constantly have to remove my account and add it again to get logged in. Otherwise the wheel just spins forever. So basically it’s useless.
  • Going from good to worse

    It would be nice if new students could register themselves in kiosk mode so the instructor can teach the class instead of registering new people. Searching through hundreds of icons (big school) to find your name doesn’t add functionality. No multi-location support. Sounds like a deal breaker. Time to look for new company :(
