One of the best app I have ever found for learning notes.
Easy and difficult at the same time for a beginner. I love that the app will not let you progress until you have earned stars. Prior to this app I was going to give up and just buy songs with letters or numbers. But practicing with this app I am actually learning to read music.
Doesn’t work with my piano
I like the app and I just may bust out of Every Good Boy Does Fine. But when I try to set it up with my Yamaha P125 piano, it doesn’t work. I’ve paid the $1.99, restarted the app etc. but can make it work. hopefully the developer can explain.
- There are no instructions on how to set it up with a piano. I’ve been trying “Transposition” in settings. Is that it? Kind of hard to tell. There should be a wizard that walks you through it. Needs a better UI and a better name than “Transposition”. Kind of obscure
- In “Transposition”, I do play the correct notes in the different octaves words but the app gives no feedback that it has read the note correctly. You have no idea if it’s right. Again, poor UI.
- Finally, when I try “Test your instrument to input notes”, none of them are correct. So, i’m doing it wrong somehow. I know i’m playing the right notes in the right octave on my P125.
I also have no idea what I would do next if I did make my piano work. Would I be able to do lessons with my piano instead of buttons? there’s no indication that you can.
- So, i’m missing something. Hope the developer can explain the process to me. Suggest the developer really works on this feature to make it simple, clear and easy. It is the crucial feature of the app - to integrate a piano - but very unclear how to do it.

I really like this app and enjoy using it. It actually helps me!
I thought it would just be boring and have no sound or have multiple lessons etc, but it has several modes, different staffs, levels, and you can hear it when you play. The only thing I don’t like is that there is a timer and you can’t change that unless you reach a certain point but it helps for a while so that you can become faster at your piano skills. Another thing I enjoy is that it tells you the not if you got it wrong in the lessons
I recommend this app. :)

It’s 5 stars for a reason
This app is simply ridiculous! Gear yourself up to learn the whole clefs at ⚡️ speed if you are willing. Very simple, no ads, great tracking to see how much faster you are learning the notes. Random notes each time so you aren’t playing the same thing. And the speed is literally up to you. If you are determined enough you could probably get through the whole thing in a couple days. But that would take serious will power! Great app great learning tool genuinely don’t know how you could learn any faster!

No ads so far.
This is a fantastic app. So far I have not encountered any ads. This allows me to do the exercises without any frustration. I love that I can do each exercise as many times as I need to until I can remember the notes. I can’t wait to explore more on this app. This is a must have app for those learning to read music!!

I see everyone writing 5-star reviews and I 100% disagree.
This app would be amazing if you actually had time to decipher the notes. I downloaded this app less than 10-minutes ago and I’m about to delete it because of the lack of time given to look at the staff and figure out what note is being presented. You are given 5 seconds to pick and if you don’t choose within those few seconds it’s marked wrong and your pushed on to the next note. It’s annoying, unhelpful and I don’t recommend to beginners.

Absolutely phenomenal!
I've tried so many different methods of learning to read music but this is by far the cheapest and easiest. In just a week of using the app I've improved so much. This is an app that really is worth paying premium for (it's a single payment of only £1.70) but even if you aren't willing to pay that it's such a valuable tool for both beginners and experts!

VERY HELPFUL! Could be a bit better.
I found this app tremendously helpful in beating the notes into my head. I only wish it had all the notes on a piano. It stops 2 notes short on both ends. Not sure why they didn’t bother to add them. Also, I would like them to throw in flats and flats. They have the keys on screen for it, but they’re not active. Just wish I had an all-in-one app that I can practice my sight reading.

Convenient and Useful
So easy to use, love that there is so much content for free, I started with no knowledge and I’ve learned SO MUCH, so fast. Highly recommend to newbies who are intimidated by learning to sight read. I never thought I’d be able to! Can be used with headphones so I practice anywhere and everywhere now. Better use of my time than scrolling social media.

Great app!
Easy and fun to use. No problems with app itself. It works all the time like it’s supposed to. (Some apps don’t). Progressively increase your abilities as you go so you are learning but not overwhelmed. Challenged but not too much so it’s always fun. Something you can do in the checkout line at the grocery store while you wait your turn. I have been using this app often for several months now and I’m getting better and more comfortable reading music everyday. Thanks guys for such a useful app at a price everyone can afford :) I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn to read music or increase their skill level for those of us trying to get a bit better at it.
