  • Very good app:)

It’s a good app. Its definitely helped make reading notes on the page easier. I especially love the timer that forces you to choose the correct note QUICKLY.
My only complaint is that when I wanted to change the buttons to actual piano notes, a simple change, I had to pay $2.00 in order to have that as an option. The money paid opens all of the other options in the app, but I really only needed one.

  • Excellent App

This is my first time learning to play the piano. This app is the best program I have found to learn how to read notes. I love it because it has great standards in place. It times your performance and you cannot move on until you master the lesson with at least one star.
Thank you to the Team that created a program that is so helpful.
It’s great for children and adults!

  • Amazing help with note memorization

I love this app so far! It is simple and easy to use and combines the sounds with the sight of the note. I love that it does only a few at a time and then adds them on so it’s not too overwhelming.
One suggestion I have for the creator (if possible) it would be so nice if the organization of the sets changed every so often. Sometimes I’ll be stuck on a particularly difficult one for me, and then I’m afraid that I’m more memorizing the organization of the collection of notes than what each individual note looks like. I think switching the order of them would help with this😊
Thanks so much for the wonderful app!

  • Great great app!!

When I was younger I played a lot of rhythm based games (ddr, rock band, guitar hero) so I knew I could learn to sight read if there was just some type of interactive learning that started you off easy and moved along with you while providing some sort of feedback. This app does just that. I would have easily paid over 20 dollars for this type of interactive learning so the 1.99 is criminal bargain. I am not the type that writes reviews but this really deserved it, great job! I am still in the early stages of learning and but I am really hammering down information. I will update this review as I go through the app.

  • Easy, quick, and kind of fun

I’m surprised with how quick this app is helping me. It’s only been one day and I’m already building a decent visual memory with one octave. The game is kind of fun too. It’s not really exciting, but it’s about as good as I can imagine for learning to read music. It was a quick and easy decision for me to buy the extra features since the method is working so fast. Download the app and see for yourself.

  • 5 Star App but Minus 2 for this

I imagine most people like me have a midi keyboard that doesn't actually play sound itself. Instead we plug it into our computer and utilize various emulators or synths. I really love this app and use it a lot, but the microphone feature does not work for me using a digital piano and even more unfortunately is that when I plug my midi keyboard into my iPhone the app disables the sound for some reason. This should be at the very least an option. I want so bad to use my midi keyboard but it's a little awkward when in using that feature at my keyboard and their nothing but the sound of me pressing the keys. All in all it really is a 5 stars app, just frustratingly not for me as I've progressed.

  • Best way to practice and learn without an instrument

I was trying to look for a way to practice learning notes on a staff and this is the perfect way to do it. It has helped a lot when I sit to practice the piano and I am note spending so much time just trying to figure out what note it is. I think it would be better if you can somehow play the notes as they would appear on your instrument. So if your intent is to learn it for the piano than display an octave so that I can visually see what key corresponds to what note I am playing. This way I am learning the staff and keys at the same time. Either way I use this app everyday whenever I have a moment and I can practice.

  • Excellent concept.

Uses a format similar to angry birds and cut the rope in that it has multiple levels and each level reward you with a clearance of one two or three stars. You can go back and replay each level to try and better your score. It has difficulty levels ranging from very easy to very hard. It allows you to select trouble clef or bass clef or both. And many other features. My favorite feature is that it allows you to use the microphone on your device to play the notes on your piano or just about any other instrument that as well tuned. The accuracy when playing a live instrument through the microphone is pretty darn good. If you play too fast, it won’t recognize occasionally and makes an error, which kind of stinks because one aspect is that the challenge level is timed. So you are encouraged to go as fast as you can, but the app can only allow you to go so fast. Would be great if they could continue to fine-tune the accuracy for speed

  • One of the best $1.99 purchases I’ve ever made!

I haven’t been playing my keyboard for a while and have been looking to get back into it. This app pretty much just inspired me to get back to practicing my everyday and that’s easy with its daily reminders. Just after playing the free for 15 minutes I couldn’t help but buy the full version even though the free one had a LOT of lessons. For anyone looking to learn piano notes, this is the app for you! One thing I do wish it had was a streak counter to keep you even more motivated everyday like the language learning app Duolingo does. Other than that, 5 stars!

  • Fast and easy

I’ve played with a few apps to teach you how to read music and this is by far the best free app you can find. It’s simple, fast, corrects you, and has sound. Very self explanatory most the apps I’ve played were made with the expectation that you have some knowledge of notes and bars, this one is perfect for some one just trying to learn with no knowledge of music notes.
