  • The worst customer service

    The first few times I used was great and then nothing but problems. Month after month my account was frozen for the subscription fee not being paid when it was automatically coming out and every time I attempted to pay it i received an error so there was no way to pay. After many back and forth emails because you can’t call these people i finally cancelled my account. Few months later needing a couple dollars for an emergency before payday i reopened my account and gave it another try. Now they’re telling me they sent me an advance and my bank has no record of it. It’s not in my account i received no confirmation emails or texts as it normal when the transaction is successful. They will not provide any help. The app shows itself the last post to my bank account was made months ago. They refuse to cancel the transfer saying it’s already been processed but apparently not because my bank doesn’t have it so now they are going to take the repayment out of my bank account when I never received anything. The customer service is horrible if you need help. You won’t get any. I am still fighting with them over this. I can’t spend my day back and forth with emails that just keep saying it’s my problem to handle. Straight to the BBB is where I’m going after I leave this review. There are other apps that do this with more helpful customer service.

  • I’m still in disbelief

    Love love love the fact you are giving me the opportunity to do this. Sometimes things happen to us that are out of our control and we get punished for it so this is actually giving me an opportunity to put food on my table. I really really really appreciate this and I’ve no idea what this means to me when no one else will give me a chance and I don’t have anybody else to turn to, you or borrow it I’m not that person but my God you are heaven sent I will never be able to to tell you how much I appreciate this. I wish I could tell you my story I’ll give you a little synopsis my boyfriend of 16 years. I helped him pay back all his child support rears well whenever all that was paid off, I needed him to help me start paying the bills this time he had a major drinking problem and I said I was moving out for six months so he can rethink everything and maybe decide to do some changes himself and he sugared my gas tanks in my business so that’s the things I got and also he stole one of my credit cards and put over $3000 on it. My credit score was almost 800 now it’s in low 400 because of all this I had to had terrible credit so I had to pay four dollars a week to live where I was living from starving to death, but I was trying to survive again you know how much appreciated thank you again

  • My experience

    The app is good the only downside is if your account is in the negative by over $50 dollars in the negative they won’t send the advance. But if it isn’t you are good to go. Now they may not approve you but it isn’t because of credit it’s because the account is in the negative by that much. Another thing is they charge a dollar to verify the account. but as soon as it’s not in the negative by more than 50 dollars you’ll be approved they’ll send you a notification immediately and once you accept the funds the money and add your debit card that’s connected to the account your job sends your direct deposit. The money will be in your account instantly! Be patient it’s really not days of waiting tbh. Also to verify your income they’ll ask you to put in some information and then connect your bank so they could see the deposits from your job. Another thing they don’t care how much you get paid even if it was 100 dollars a week they will not deny you you will be fine. Just be patient and put all your info into the app that’s it. Tip- the longer you wait the more they’ll offer but idk 100% but it will come in handy incase you need gas in your car or short on rent or anything it doesn’t matter if it was 5 dollars help is help. Now enjoy!

  • Great app!!

    Empower is a wonderful company. I am so appreciative that there are services such as theirs available. I happen to be a disabled woman with many unfortunate diagnoses and it has made all the difference in this wavering economy. I happen to be extremely responsible and disciplined as it pertains to payment and/or repayment of bills and I can assure you that will help you with Empower. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because it’s customer service department is absolutely deplorable. The last seven days I have had six phone calls on three of those days with both representatives, in fact the same representative, and a supervisor named Joanna and I don’t think I’ve ever had a more disrespectful, insulting to my intelligence experience in my almost half century on this planet with a customer service department. They were just willing to say absolutely anything and then contradict it and then change that and then again rather than just simply saying human error was involved or technological error or giving me some sensible explanation. There’s nothing worse than your time being limited, not knowing what that date is, and then having it wasted by a customer service department that is attached to anything to do with your finances. It really is unfortunate because Empower is truly a phenomenal App and service.

  • Satisfactory service

    It sounds like a fantasy when you advise people but the truth never changes regardless of people's reactions to it. I watched this guru on TV being interviewed about how easily it is for him to increase a credit score without being noticed. so I had to listen to the conversation between him and the interviewer. Not longer after then, I reached out to him in regards of my credit score and I gave him the necessary details needed for the job. He assisted me, and my score was raised from low 400 to over 680 with all derogatory reports taken down with 7 working days by this TechGuru David Neegard. I also have worked with him on different occasions and he has never failed nor delayed any job, not once. He assisted me when i needed a quick fix for my credit report in which i had some delinquencies, late payments, evictions, poor credit score etc. and he fixed all that in just few days. Also, When my cryptocurrency token, bitcoin got stolen from me, that was the easiest, they got that recovered for me very quickly and he carried me along and i had a good idea of how the whole credit hack works.     Hello everyone I’m very new to The Empower app. I have seen and heard of the Empower app on ads before quite a few times before and have been very interested in giving it a try, so I am rating this app 2 stars for now due to I did have to pay 8 bucks for the first month just to get an advance of 10 dollars, I’m a bit confused on that and pretty turned off about it due to the fact that I have used other apps like Dave and Albert and their fees are no where near that high, Dave’s is somewhere around $1.99 or $2.99 a month and Albert I believe was free or $4.99 if you wanted to explore other features on the app. So with that said I am rating Empower 2 stars. I will give the app a month to prove to me whether or not, I actually keep the app. Part of downloading the app was the fact that I seen on the ads from different sites that I was using that you could get up to $250 for a pay advance, not saying that I need the advance all the time but when you need it, you need it and so I really think $8 dollars a month is really high just starting out for a $10 cash advance, so I will come back on here next month around the 28th, 29th of February and let everyone know how I actually feel and if it’s worth the $8 dollars.   • Honest review and experience after month and a half

    So I honestly downloaded the app to get a quick advance because I was trying to make it the last couple days in between paydays and I needed to get gas and a few groceries and it worked out perfectly because my 1st advance was $75 and I even received my paycheck 2 days early so I repaid my advance back in full 2 days early everything is going great then my 2nd use is Saying that I am still approved for $75 which I figured it would stay the same because my checks are the same amount every payday since I am a salary employee and I read on the Empowers own app that after you pay 2nd advance back on time that you are likely to get a limit increase and I understand that the word likely is used and that does mean that it’s a guarantee to receive an increase but I don’t understand why my next 2 advance limits have been approved for only $25….. And I have never been late on my repayment agreement or anything and like I said previously my paycheck is the exact same amount as when I first started using this app and my limit goes down and at this current moment I am on my 4th advance and only approved for $25 so for my personal opinion I don’t think I would really recommend using this app if you are looking to
    Build your advance limit!!!!!!! My experience over the last 1.5 or 2 months of use….

  • First time a commercial did what they said!!

    Mann I really didn’t believe this was going to work when I decided to give this a shot when I saw the commercial today. Had some extra financial responsibilities I had to pay off this week and it left me short on cash and I don’t get paid until next week . Didn’t want to call a friend or family member to spot me because why burden them ? Then I saw the Empower commercial and saw they do no credit check no late fees and no interest rates , just pay back what you owe on your next paycheck . Of course I thought there was some type of hidden text or sham lurking to it (as it is with just about any other financial loan institution)but I said oh what the heck what do I got to lose and downloaded the app. Not only did they did most of the work for me but I got approved within minutes and received my cash within minutes too ! and kept it all simple ! No long contracts just simply pay back what you owe !! And your credit limit goes up higher the more you pay off and use the app ! Definitely recommend this to anyone who’s looking for some extra cash to get by until they’re next paycheck ! THANKS EMPOWER!!
