Once a great app that now barely works
I used this app religiously while travelling across over 60 countries, it was my go to for information and insider tips on places I would go. Unfortunately the developers have clearly solely focused their resources on selling tours and trips that the city guides have fallen by the wayside and rarely ever work. Disappointed.Show lessjikka
Worse with every iteration
The Culture Trip app has gone from being THE most useful mobile travel guide out there to an utterly useless tour selling app. Gone are the masses of useful articles, niche guides and offline functionality (which was particularly useful when on planes, trains or countries where data is patchy), replaced with a limited selection of bog standard guides and constant push to buy flight and hotels. Used to be good!
I used this to research things to see me do on holiday and I found it really useful. However it does t work as well as it used to, it doesn’t load and when it does it cuts out soon after.Wee Kak

Barely functional app
The app barely functions on my iPhone, and when I search nothing appears. I messaged customer service but no reply :(iwakeupdreaming

I’m unable to search a location and just keep getting the little symbol going round in circles. Tried to search London, Paris, Barcelona and no results. Tried turning my phone off and on, deleting app and re-loading but still no success.KL..55
Can’t find things around me.
Location services seem to be down. Just downloaded the app, so I have no way to know if that’s an ongoing issue. — There’s also no way to look up a smaller city and populate places in terms of distance. That would be really helpful. — A map option to manually set my location would be a way around both of these issues and doesn’t necessarily need to populate a list on the map.Show lessKellyK376
No search results
I love culture trip. I use the app and website many times for every vacation. HOWEVER over the last year I have found that many times when searching on the app there is no search result, just a blank page. The exact same search on the Culture Trip website shows many results. 🤷♂️blueputteeNL
Favorite Ap for exploring new destinations!
I have used this ap for several years now and my application for the vast information about even the remote corners of the world continues to grow.

Doesn’t start! - Update
I loved this app. I even gave it 5 stars. I now am unable to even enter the app. It freezes on start! I deleted it and reinstalled it several times to no avail.
Update: 28 May 2022 - the latest update has fixed the issues from before. Thank you!!dentotune
