The content on culture trip is far and away the best for travel and has had some great recommendations for trips. The app and general usability however is horrible- my girlfriend spent months adding items to a big list for a Japan trip we are planning, only for one day to be locked out of her account, reset the password and all of her articles have gone missing on the app and the website. It’s a massive let down for a service that has so much potential that’s squandered on a cheaply made and poorly designed appShow lessMsedean

I love this app! The articles on what to do and what not to do in each location in order to not be your typical obnoxious tourist are may favorite. Not only do I not want to be “that tourist” but I also want to immerse myself into the local culture as much as possible. Culture Trip helps me find food, activities and experiences that are off the beaten path and teaches me how to be respectful and honoring to the people and places I am visiting. 10 out of 10 would recommend to my friends and family.Show lessPeejTravels

I am an American who spent the last two years working in Ireland. Culture Trip was our constant companion, both in Ireland and on travels through the rest of Europe. The articles are fun, up-to-date, and full of good ideas of interesting and meaningful things to do and see and know. They are truly a locals’ eye view. Admission: whenever I go to a new city, I’m quite obsessive about researching the best places to eat and drink, and, for that, Culture Trip is absolutely essential.
The site has never steered me wrong - on two different continents - with superb writing and recommendations that are always spot on. Plus, the easy-to-use app and accompanying map capability are a godsend.
