  • Ignore the “No Story” claims

The story is there, it’s in every detail of the beginning of the game, such is their MO. This game is not really fully intended for the phone, but for the computer. It’s also on the PlayStation list and I’m sure even XBox might have one too. If you want to play games based on other people’s opinions, then you might not play ANY GAME, every game has its flaws and it’s perks. It’s up to you to decide, based on the gameplay itself, do you like the game. It’s not about my opinion or theirs, it’s about YOUR opinion. This game is a work of art, you don’t have to appreciate it, others will. You don’t have to understand it, because trust me, OTHERS WILL. (All upper cased words are done so to emphasize not seem like I’m yelling ) I say one thing they should add for this game, is a setting to connect a controller and to apply a configuration for how to access and use and fight and move.

  • Decent game

I love the game seriously the items the recipes but one thing the game takes forever and I’m not kidding it takes so long to load and all the things in the game that attack you are overpowered like those living trees the pig people or whatever and those big crocodiles. even snakes kill the best of players. At least add something in the game that you can make friends with. I still like the game how it is but needs a bit of an upgrade. I hope this was helpful to everyone bye.

  • Image quality is bad

I loved the first don’t starve game and it’s graphics were so clean. This version on the other hand is rough around the edges when it comes to graphics. I play this on my iPad Pro and I expect crisp image quality but all I get is glitchy and over saturated colors. Please update the graphics, they make the game less enjoyable.

  • “No Sweat” version would be amazing!

I absolutely love all things Don’t Starve. Don’t Starve and Shipwrecked are the ONLY games that I own on three different platforms (PC, iPhone, and XBox1) because I love being able to play the different versions and have it in my pocket for free time or marathons at home on PC or Xbox.

But when I’m playing on mobile, it’s incredibly easy for real life to distract me and for my character to die. That stinks. I play strictly “No Sweat” on Don’t Starve and was expecting a similar version on Shipwrecked when I recently purchased it.

An update including a “No Sweat” option would be incredibly appreciated!

Thank you Klei Entertainment for an amazing series of games that have kept me entertained, frustrated, and surprised for YEARS!!

(PS, I’m totally going to reference your games in a homebrew DND campaign that I’m writing for my close friends and current party members!)

  • Almost as good as in PC

If you liked Don’t Starve on the PC, you’ll most likely enjoy this game. My only critique is that I wish there was a way to work with a stack of multiple items (ie- cook stack, and build many vs build one). This would make gameplay seem a little more smooth as you wouldn’t have to keep opening and closing the menus to build multiple items or cook multiple things.

  • Can’t see items

I’ve been playing this game now for a little under a month and suddenly I cannot see certain details on the map or in the game itself. I made sandbags and when I put them down I cannot see them at all. Also when I look on the map all I can see most times is just the spiders and trees not the twigs, my boat, rocks etc. leaving me blind to just wonder about. Please fix these problems because I really enjoy this game but it’s not becoming a problem.

  • Virtual Stick

Writing this because people don't know there’s a control stick you have to go to settings to enable it and yes it took me forever to realize this and it so much easier now xD anyways huge fan of these games and its nice having a game i love on the go. I do wish it would pause on the iPad tho only the phone does that. But i still very much enjoy this game.

  • Great game! But I wish there was a don’t starve together version for IOS devices

I love the game and it’s properties! But I wish they would make a don’t starve together version on shipwrecked (if you haven’t already, I’m not sure) but for IOS devices like phones and iPads! Me and my cousin are really into this game and I wish that we could play together in the shipwrecked version of don’t starve. But overall it’s a awesome game and I love the work people put into it and the creativity!

  • Love This Game

I absolutely love this game. I originally got it on my PS4 and it played it on my Vita as well. When I saw it available on IOS I immediately purchased it. I’ve been playing it occasionally on and off for 4 years and still don’t tire of it. I love the graphics and the easy of casual playing it.
  • Love the original and this

My only issue with the mobile version is that there is a little bit of issues with the iPhone X, everything still works it’s just there is a little bit of the screen getting cut off by the notch
