Danville fun
This is a great alternative to Uber Lyft, the transit system and walking
Especially for riding the trail along the river and the places nearby to eat
However, some of the bikes had torn fenders. Some of them had tires that couldn’t be aired up or head brakes that were compromised and where the brake cords were hanging down
and at least one shift did not work on two of the four bikes we rented.

Bike 8 Fenelon falls
Chain came off mid ride.
Nice ride but terrible ending
This was my first time doing bike rental. It was a nice ride. When it was time to lock the bike the instructions were very unclear. The 24 hr customer service did not answer. I was charged for an additional 30 minutes after I finally figured it out. I will rent again dispite my issues.
Three speed bikes. Easy to use.
These were pretty solid, three speed bikes, so it was pretty hard to ride much more than 5 mph maybe six on the flat. It’s strange when they ask you to select the Bike all the selections look the same but when you hit a button it just randomly unlocks the bike it wants, and you have to look around and try all the locks and see which one is opened. so that’s a bit odd. Overall, the bike worked fine but I would say it would not be for a weak or short female rider as I’m a fairly fit older rider and I was killing myself to get up even the slightest hill. Nice that they have it, but I was looking with envy at all the road cyclist flying past me.

Don’t recommend in Wichita
I was in Wichita on work travel and saw shared bikes around my hotel. I wanted to rent a bike one evening, but I tried for over half an hour trying to get the app to accept two different cards as payment information. Both cards would get the green “card successfully entered” ribbon, but when I actually went to rent a bike, it gave me a “card could not be used/read” error. I tried three different bikes in two different zones before giving up. There was no helpful information in the app or online, and nothing in the error message telling me how to fix the error with the cards. I sent a message to customer support letting them know of the issue and they weren’t helpful. They insinuated that my cards had insufficient funds (they didn’t, and I had used them both that day with no issue), and stopped responding after I told them I gave up on trying to rent from them. I really like the idea of bike share programs, but I know if they’re using this app to steer clear.

Unresponsive app and broke e-bike
First know I attempted to work with customer service before leaving this review. I rented 4 bikes for my family in Baton Rouge, but it took trying 8 different bikes in two different locations to get 4 good ones. The app was unresponsive for about 3 to 5 minutes between each successful rental. We took off for our destination and found one of the e-bikes would not electronically operate. Fast forward to the customer service response for this issue was “it shows 71% battery. Sorry for your inconvenience.” I manually pedaled that bike while the rest of the family sped off to our destination. The next problem came when we were ending our ride. After parking and locking the bikes in the designated area, it took over half an hour before the app would work to manually end our ride. We started walking around while I watched the app spin. Guess what, if you attempt to manually end your ride after walking away, they threaten to charge you a $50 fine for “not parking in a designated area”. I walked half a mile back to finally manually end my ride on the app. Basically I was way over charged for our 4 bike rental experience. Needless to say, we took an Uber back to our hotel over renting the bikes again.

Takes forever to load
The purpose of the app is great, I love taking the rental bikes on the trail by my house. Unfortunately, I’m not sure if it’s just MY iPhone but the app takes too long to load for my liking. I had to close and restart the app 3 times THEN delete the app and redownload it just to end my bike rental. That added an additional 10 minutes to my rental.. just to open the app.

Day out
Great service, easy to use but all the bikes at this station needed their tires pumped up, otherwise good little bikes
Frustrating
This is the worst app ever. Tried to rent 2 bikes. First one unlocked. The second one would not after trying ALL the troubleshooting tips and calling the help phone number. Even tried restarting my phone. Then the app couldn’t determine our location and proceeded to freeze up. Had to restart my phone to get the app to close. After over 40 minutes we gave up and put the second bike back without going anywhere. I would recommend using a scan method like the scooters have or developing a much more efficient app. This was a very disappointing and frustrating experience with the simple objective of renting two bikes.

Easy but hard
It was difficult to figure out the process of renting the bike. Eventually, we figured it out. It was easy after that and the return of the bike was easy! I would rent again. Thanks Movatic!
