Pretty good
I like that you get features on this appThat you don’t get on the controller, that’s pretty cool. But it sometimes takes a while to hook up. And right when you get the app it should show that you have to turn the controller off to hook up your train because I did not know that it took me a while to figure that out. And that was kind of annoying. And also sometimes it would randomly disconnect and that would also get annoying. But other than that I love this app! and I hope you guys have a great day thank you for reading! Bye bye🐺🐺🐺 oh and one more thing I know I’m asking quite a lot but on the Bluetooth thing can you like hook up your own music if you have like a music app like Pandora or something like that so you could play your own music on the train I think that would be super cool of you guys and I think a lot of people would agree with me but other than that I have nothing else thank you for reading!!Show lessbest game ever💗💗💓💓
It’s not working
The app doesn’t work I tried with my frozen ll train the only thing it does is the sound effects we connected and still didn’t worknickistar12122
Limited usefulness
I’m using this with the Harry Potter train. It would be cool if the app let you choose character voices or even gave you an updated list of phrases. Unfortunately, just like with the remote that came with the train, it cycles through the same two phases 90% of the time.Writing a review 12345
Simple to use, needs improvement/updates
I downloaded the app and had my train running in seconds. The app can, and should, be easily updated to make a clean and concise interface. The images are very low resolutions, which makes for a lackluster interface. You cannot switch from landscape to portrait modes on your own.
Overall the app works well and I have not noticed any issues which would hinder use.Show lessB923
Lion Chief
My Nickel Plate Berkshire will not stay connected to the app. Will not run in the app mode. I sent it back to Lionel, still fails in the app mode.Sad Nickel Plate
Voice commands?
App works well enough, but now there’s a hardly functional voice command that either closes the app or doesn’t work at all. Occasionally it stops the train, other than that it’s pretty useless. Also sometimes it will acknowledge a command and close the app or just acknowledge the command but still not execute it.Show less3railer
Why
I have Bluetooth devices that do not need location setting to be enabled to function. This app only works with location setting enabled. Why. Deleted..lionel rules

The good and bad
It will sometimes connect and it works great, but it won’t disconnect after a few times. The controls are great because it has way more than the remote, but the secret in the LonChief remotes is by holding down the middle sound button while you turn the throttle up or down can change the chuffing, bell, etc.Show lesskloomba!
