Terrible
Constantly loses connectivity, even when you are right along side the train. Then you always lose connection if your phone screen locks, which is extremely annoying. So you basically have to keep your phone display/app on the entire time.Pook25
Update the UI
The app was obviously just stretched horizontally to fill the iPhone X (and newer) screen. Just lazy. Please do this right. Also find a way to not need an active Bluetooth connection to keep the train going.cms365

As soon as I hit a button on the app it disconnects from the engine and shows not connected! Poor app !Hcopter51
Game changer
This is best innovation Lionel has had since puffing smoke. Being able to control multiple trains from my phone is a game changer. My 3 year old grandson immediately mastered the controls, and being able to dial down the top speed allows me to make sure the trains stay on the track during tight curves.Show lessErnM1973
Fun and easy to understand app!
I downloaded this app for the first time today, looking to connect it to my Lionel Mikado. I was pleased to find out that the app was easy to learn, and the button layout was wonderful. Also, I had no problems connecting to the locomotive, and it was surprisingly fast to connect. Great job, Lionel!Tiny Rails

Turn the Lionel Chief Remote off! Turn on the Engine, so it can find the Bluetooth on the iPhone or iPad! Then open the app... It should hook right up with the Lionel App. Love it, because you can control the speed and sound of the engine! Helps me out because of my sons autism! He loves trains a lot, but doesn’t like the loud sounds. With this app I can control it👍🏻Show lessmartin1933

I had no trouble with the app once so ever! It’s so easy to control, my train is the hogwarts express, y’all are using the app wrong, mine connects automatically, ether y’all don’t have a Bluetooth engine, or there’s something working with the engine or apptrainboy1212
