Disappointed
Wish I never updated the app. Now Bluetooth features don’t work, doesn’t even recognize the train anymore. Thanks Lionelchuckey4567
App Won't Close
I like the features provided by the app. It provides more functionality than the LionChief remote. However, once the app is open, I can't close it! And to make matters worse, it won't allow me to access my other apps. The only work around I've found is to reboot the phone. This is totally unacceptable! 2 stars tops!Show lesskamralenz
This App Cannot connect To Polar Express toy train :-/
So The app doesn’t program well for the Polar Express train #1225. Ever since last Christmas, my little brother and I tried to automatically connect this for several times with Bluetooth and it still not works. Please try to determine whatever issue it is and then fix this problem.XSCampis38#X

The app very rarely works. Lionel really needs to stop offering Bluetooth connectivity if they can’t get it right.marcbenjamin
Flawless
Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Power up the track, the headlight flashes, there's a little tone, then it pairs right up and the chuffing sound starts. It is important to note that, if the locomotive is paired to the remote, or another iOS or Android device, it will not pair to anything else. It only pairs to one Lionchief device at a time. Horrible App
Amazing train but the app doesn't work at all, I'm sitting right beside the train and remote and the app can't find it, trying for days now. It's the Polar Express #1225.RiverGonzos
Needs improvement
One major bug is I can’t disconnect my iPhone 7 from the train. When I go into settings it shows that no train is connected when obviously i am connected considering I’m controlling the train. So when I want to go from Bluetooth to controller I have to close the app. Also I wish the app saved your prior settings including volume, speed control, etc.

Blue tooth with gold train
Didn’t like downloading the iPhone app to my iPad Pro w/iOS 11, however, it works well. Especially like putting a speed limit on my 5yr grand son. :-).alaska forever
