Terrible Accounting and Financial Management

I used this app for about 6 or so months. I became very unsatisfied with how they manage the credit card payments and the money allocation process on my account. I then canceled the service because of the restrictions and it has been 3 months if not longer and I still haven’t been able to get my money returned to me from the service. First it was an issue with processing the return and now it’s an issue with determining which bank holds my funds. Their customer service is both slow and un-knowledgeable. It should never take a customer months to get money that rightly belongs to them; especially when you don’t let them easily take their money out of the app. Absolute worst service I’ve used. I would not recommend them to anyone. I didn’t give 1 star because it worked partially when I did the basic initial setup. After that, it was all downhill…

Trying so hard to be patient

I have been using the app for almost two years. I am usually patient and empathetic when things happen that are out of a company’s control. I can only imagine the stress the people in charge are under right now. But I relied on this app to help me with my debt. The app is marketed to students taking out debt, some of the most financially vulnerable and naive people.

I have a good bit of money that I have been saving up for two years that I cannot access. I have been patient for a while now but there’s only so much I can do when I can’t access my own money. I’m at a loss, like genuinely have no idea what to do because having faith in an app is so stressful.

I feel dumb when I was only ever trying to be responsible.

App difficult to navigate

I have never had this hard of a time using any app. In order to have your debt paid, you need to know your interest rate, length of loan, address of where the money is going ect…. I’ve tried calling to get help and I get email responses with no help or resolution to my problem. I have money sitting in this app I can’t do anything with. I’ve tried every credit card and loan I have and nothing connects. I have asked the company to refund the money to the account it took the money from and nothing. I’ve been so frustrated I’ve given up for now with Changed has several hundred of my dollars sitting in the account I can’t access or speak to an actual human over the phone about. They need to simplify the app big time! I don’t recommend and regret signing up for it:(

Hi JLHRDH, Debts can be normally linked via our Quick link process which should not ask you for these things but to verify the info. In regards to money movements, we are working to resolve an ACH issue with our banking partner and will provide updates once we can. We want to get this resolved as soon as we can. Chip away at your debt

I recommend this app to all my friends and post on social media. I was like the rest of the wide eyed kids hoping to make it big after college during the recession only to have a huge 100k bill at the end of it. Over the past 3 years I’ve used this platform to chip away at my debt to make those extra payments when I can. It should take a few years off my loans and save me almost 10k in interest.

Horrid refund policy / payment issues

I chose the mortgage savings plan. The refund policy is 14 days. Beware you have to pay for an Annual fee and it’s not refundable after the first 14 days. They are deceitful tho because it took 14 days to get all my accounts into the system and utilized customer service repeatedly to get my mortgage linked.
When I finally was able to connect the accounts - the money was sent to my mortgage and the mortgage company didn’t know how to apply the extra payment. This created chaos with both of my mortgages. Customer service is terrible, app is not super user friendly and I’m eating the remainder of the annual fee because they won’t even take the remainder of what I Alresdy paid in advance and simply move it to another type of changed account. All in all. Loss of money. Terrible experience. Don’t recommend. First review I’ve ever done.

In regards to payments, this does depend on your mortgage servicer. This should be an easy request you can make with your lender on how to apply payments. We have resources that can help as well. Debt Payments Are No Longer Automatic

Not sure what changed with this app. I used the app last year no problem. It worked great. It automatically collected cash from my account and made automafic payments to my debts with no problems. This year, the app scoops up the money from my bank account but doesn't post payments to my debts automatically. Twice I have had to contact support to get payments made. This is frustrating. I'm now paying for a service that doesn't operate without intervention or as intended. As a result I requested my account be closed.
Let's see how long it takes to get my money returned to my account. Based on other user feedback, I'm sure it will be awhile.

Can’t even cancel without relinking debt

It’s a pretty bad app if I’m going to be honest. I don’t really use it as I already pay more than I need to through my regular recurring charges on my debt accounts.
After realizing I don’t need it, I decided to cancel my account. I tried logging in but it seems I can’t even access my account without having to relink my debt. That is so slimy of this company. Your already taking my money out my account so you clearly know my account information? Why do I have to link a debt account just to access my profile so I can cancel?? Such a bad use experience and worse than that bad business practice smdh

Where is my money?

I started using Changed after a recommendation and have seen money withdrawn regularly from my checking account based on my purchases. That’s fine, but the deposit they made to my auto loan has been floating out in space somewhere since April 11 and has not posted to my account. I think it’s better to just make extra payments to your loans and skip the waiting to make sure everything adds up. Plus, there’s no number to call to speak with someone about issues like this. You can email and they will tell you they sent the check. If they can electronically debit your accounts, why not send an electronic payment? Very frustrating.

Not Intuitive & Very Clunky

I love the premise of this app but I have no idea where/what I am saving and when payments are scheduled. Not intuitive at all which is concerning since just about every screen is asking for personal & financial info. Also, app is very clunky & not responsive more often than not & it’s not my connection. Going to stick with it but disappointed so far 😟

Update has glitches

I downloaded the updates for the app and unfortunately now you cannot adjust your loan balance anymore. When you manually try to put the payments in that have been made to reduce the loan and click submit it will not update the amount owed. It is a wonderful app but the issue needs to be corrected because it is satisfying to see your loan balance reducing.
