Just back from 5 person family holiday in Thailand
Very positive experience with Trailfinders throughout the whole holiday. Great advice from the front of house Bristol Team helping us select and organise the holiday of our choice lots of options diligently researched reviewed and presented in the View Trail App once peer reviewed and Quality Assured. All worked smoothly and on schedule with any changes well communicated by their local partners in business when a quick time amendment was required. We were met early by Yui the local Trailfinders Rep who provided excellent advice, local knowledge and helped us decide on which local activities were right for us. Trip to National Marine Park and 4x4 Adventures very much enjoyed.
View Trail App very helpful throughout as a quick point of reference for detail as we went along.
Overall a great experience and reassuring to have the backup/support of a professional company when navigating a completely different culture when travelling with a family group.Show lessAlex H123

App seems to be entirely designed around handling a single trip. Discourages me from using trailfinders when I can’t see current past and potential future apps.SuperHellVixen

We have had the holiday of a lifetime and Trailfinders put together an itinerary that was very involved but worked perfectly at every stage. From the time we flew from Heathrow to San Diego and then a few days later from San Diego to Denver to pick up the Rocky Mountaineer train to take the two day trip to Moab. We were booked on every flight with our seats already allotted. The Crawford Hotel in Denver was excellent and we would go there again. The train ride was fantastic with first class service all the way through and impeccable service and refreshments and nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we were kept informed about everything we were seeing from the train. After a stop off in Moab, we had a hire car to Salt Lake City and the flight back to San Diego and again we had no hold-ups at the airport and they knew we were booked in. We have just returned from our 18 day self drive trip to South Africa, Cape Town to Eastern Cape. Thank you so much for putting together such a wonderful itinerary with first class hotels and locations.
Each of the hotels you selected had a style of its own and the staff could not do enough for us to make it each stay memorable.
The Amakala game reserve and the Oceana Beach wildlife resort were fantastic highlights at the end of the trip and made our 40th wedding anniversary trip very special with many memories that will last forever. Thank you Trailfinders and John Davila topmarks 10/10!!Show lessRichard&Karen

Since booking Thailand with trailfinders we had been on another holiday with a different company. It was terrible. The worst trip ever. So by time Thailand came we were deflated and our expectations were low.
Thailand has been the most incredible holiday we’ve ever been on. From dealing with summer at the start she was so friendly and patient to the moment we got back home. The transfers, the excursions, the hotels have been exceptional. The guides were phenomenal and I feel privileged to have met them. We are so impressed with trailfinders that we are booking again for next year. A stress free, well thought out, fulfilling trip. In general trip was excellent, had a brilliant time.
Only issues I had regarding itinerary, was the booking for the Metropole Hotel in Katoomba and the booking for Scenic World at the blue mountains. Both theses bookings had been made by third party travel agent and on arrival at the two different places no booking had been confirmed for me!! Fortunately I was lucky and the hotel had a vacant room, and eventually managed to track down the booking with the third party agent and honoured the quoted prices. Fortunately things were similar at Scenic world.
But seeing as I was 10,000 miles from home, if things had not been resolved, and my original booking was with TrailFinders, I would consider this a slight failing on behalf of TrailFinders to at not least go to the effort of making sure all bookings on an itinerary are confirmed with hotels etc prior to departure, (and update itinerary as necessary).
As a relatively inexperienced traveller on this trip I was lucky, it is certainly something I will be more mindful of booking trips in the future.Show lessSimon 101234,?&

We both would like to say a massive big thank you to Tom for all his help , his booking of our fabulous hotels the location for all of them was wonderful. The booking of the car and motor home went smoothly with both fast collection and drop off . The trip he booked was amazing. We visited Sri Lanka in January to break up the British Winter and explore a new destination and what a treat it turned out to be. Excellent Hotels, delightful people, a knowledgable and personal guide, inexpensive eating and a climate in January which was perfect for us hovering between 23-27 degrees. We spent two weeks touring staying in each location three days and one week at a beautiful beach hotel at Bentota. Every day was a treat to be cherished. Well done Trailfinders for creating a programme to our specification and Walkers Tours for the excellent transport and guide provision in Sri Lanka.Show lessCP/KP

Just returned from a wonderful 14 night stay at the Kuredu Island resort & spa. Everything was perfect, great beach villa, excellent facilities, fabulous food & drink and ofcourse looked after so well by lovely lovely people. The marine life is so stunning to see and experience.
