We are part way through our trip of a lifetime starting with Singapore & are currently awaiting our flight from Cairns to Melbourne, so far the flights, transfers, hotels & car hire have been fabulous & certainly above our expectations! One small hiccup in Singapore but TF sorted & have reimbursed us already!

Our holiday was expertly arranged by trail finders . Flights all well coordinated and hotel in Boston was really fun , quirky, well located and perfect for our needs . We had a fantastic time but with one disappointment being the hotel in cape cod . The Hyannis harbour hotel booked , promised a relaxing base , with pool indoor and outdoor , harbour views Restaurants and bar on site . In reality it was being refurbished and we were given a room in the annexe overlooking the building work . No pool , restaurant or bar was open. We were given no notification that this would be the case . I would suggest Trailfinders take this hotel off their list for the time being .
On our return to Boston to stay the night at Boston airport hotel we were also a bit annoyed that “airport”hotel was actually several miles from airport and cost us an expensive taxi ride to get to as courtesy shuttle bus could not be contacted .
Aside from that we had a fabulous time . These points are purely for advise for future travelers.Show lessFi 14

hotel: food was good but little variety of protein for my wife who is vegetarian (eg, lack of nuts and legumes). With 4 groups at the same time the dining room was very noisy.
Room: we had a room for three people, far too small and totally inadequate storage space for three. We therefore had to book a second room, and that had to be a double room, and cost a double rate, and also we had to revert to sharing in the three room on the Wednesday).
Guide: ok, friendly and informed, but, as constructive suggestions: on walks and transport he sometimes could not be heard by all or spoke to a few close to him. It would have been nice to have a group photo!!! Briefings were sometimes given in venues where there were over 40 other people making noise. People could not hear. Other places were available. Often important information, particularly changes, was not given to all and was passed around by rumour. Information on specific days could have been given in writing, or if all had phones, electronically.
ViewTrail: took much work to find out information. At times statements within sections were nothing to do with the button clicked.Show lessaljomahe

The Trail Finders app is difficult to use. The information is all over the place. You would think that if you click on "Voucher Details" it would display the voucher details but, no, it tells you the menu options you need to select to access them, which is a completely different path within the app, it doesn't even give you a direct link. Also, the voucher details weren't there until the last minute rather than 10 days before the start of the trip (as stated) and, in one case, we had to call the day before to ask for the details. Again, with the flight details, it doesn't provide a direct link to the right page on the airline's website, it just tells you the menu options you need to click to get there.

Of the various travel apps around this stands out a mile when it comes to the clarity of display the collapsible agenda items and the transparency of what’s there and what isn’t make it a pleasure to use. It gives you confidence that with this app whether you are preparing to travel of in your travels you are in control of both the overall plan and the various necessary details. We are on holiday in the USA & Canada and despite printing out paper vouchers before departing the UK these show no exact details of pick up times from hotels which leaves you somewhat in the dark to say the least! My iPhone does not show these times either. By chance I also have brought a tablet on holiday which does show departure times so my question is why does one show the information required but the other one doesn’t? Trailfinders you need to sort this out and quickly!!!!Show lessChuffer Exasperated!

Great piece of kit to see all your travel plans in one place with all sorts of useful info. No need for paperwork or old fashioned vouchers to hand to hotel reception etc. Can make payments. The details of your trip are still there even when off line. Great to remind yourself on the details of an upcoming trip and the gallery of pictures for your hotel keeps you excited.Show lessBoyMastGen

During this year we had two holidays books but unfortunately due to covid the first one was cancelled so the money was transferred to the second holiday. Unfortunately this has also now been cancelled and a full refund has been made. I cannot fault the efficiency of the staff in booking the holidays in the first place then re arranging and finally sorting out a full refund. This is excellent service.Show lessdjp 53

I was never in doubt that a company as great as Trailfinders would produce a quality app that matches their service.
During COVID times it is so handy to have all live information/vouchers to hand without having to carry pesky bits of paper.
The app works very well and has a security function to protect my details.
