  • I dig it the most.

I’m really enjoying exploring this app and like the results so far. I’ve not printed anything yet though. I am curious and will do so soon.
  • Be handy in dark room if...

This could save time and money on paper in the real darkroom if..you could stop your enlarger lens down before choosing filter and strip time, and paper size on the app. Otherwise good app.

I have found this app to be very useful easy to use and would recommend to anyone to give it a go you won’t regret it

    Developer Response

Thanks a lot for your honest opinion and thanks for helping me spread the words on Darkr :)
  • Great darkroom simulation

If you’ve made your own darkroom prints you’ll find this to be a really fun app to use. I hope the developer will add some stuff like different medium format aspect ratios, a 6x6/6x7 switch would be nice, and split toning.
  • Best B&W photo app

Lots of customization with a nostalgic feel
  • App

The fact that you get to download the app to find out , that you can’t even use it without purchasing all the edits and the filters. I think a part of it should at least be free so yea that’s why i'm rating it 1 star and deleting the app but bumped bc it seemed a good app but defiantly not worth the purchase since there’s a lot of more free advanced and professional apps

  • some problems with the app

darkroom tool is cool. it is just like the real darkroom. but to be frank I feel the camera program is really hard to use. when choose the film we still can change the iso. And it’s really hard to compose and focus. when I compose is way more harder than my rolleiflex camera. And for the focus, I personally suggest add the vibration function.

  • Love the results - not so keen on the method.

I have to start by saying that the results possible from this app are great. Everything about the Dark Room process, workflow and available techniques is just about perfect.
What I’m not a great fan of is the viewfinder recreation. Back-to-front with an odd focus / autofocus process might be correct in terms of the cameras bring modelled but it’s just a bit silly for iphotography. What about an option to have something for 21st century for the viewfinder?
But there’s no denying, the results are worth the pain.

  • Great results

This app changes my world! Finally I can capture beautiful photos of black and white on my phone, and learn to see the world through a softer light. Thanks for making a quality product, which I will be upgrading to the fully paid feature soon. Food for thought: a pinhole camera mode.
    Thanks!
