Needs Development - MAJOR
The app is rendered quite useless at present. Constantly disconnects. If you’re lucky enough to connect, it’s still a painful experience to maintain connection. Audi is a brand name that’s supposed to stand for opulence, true breakthrough discoveries through scientific research and development. This product however, leaves a sour taste. $1500AU to install, yet the front camera kept falling off the windscreen. The operation of the camera functions make sense, but you’ll be flat out getting a stable enough connection to be able to play around with the features. Audi HQ, please put some TLC into this expensive piece of hardware you sell, or it’s just plain eye gouging and worse still, selling a product that is not fit to be associated with the high level standards we all know as, AUDI. Really needs work
The app seriously needs a bit of developer love. Figure out how to stop the wifi from disconnecting constantly (seems to be the car’s wifi interfering), hire a UX and UI designer and this app will be much better.

Very Hard To Connect To UTR
There has been no update for a long time. Unable to connect via iPhone. Surprised Audi would allow a substandard app or product to sell. Please don’t give me the Covid excuse. If you sell a product, stand by it. Or get help from a third party
Cannot access and forward downloaded files
There needs to be a function added to the app that allows the user to share a downloaded file.
App is junk IMHO. Hardware is good.
Seriously difficult to make a WiFi connection to unit in app version 2.02. I haven't made one WiFi connection successfully with it after 100+ attempts. Even though I lost count at the total number of attempts (it's well more than 100 times) with app 2.02, it was still a hit or miss on earlier version too but you could get a WiFi connection made within 20-30 attempts on that earlier version.
The app is so flawed, it's hard to believe that Audi would be associated with it.
IMHO, the app makes the Audi UTR a horrible ownership experience. If you are reading this and haven't installed the hardware, I suggest you return it, get your refund and purchase a different dashcam system with functional app is my recommendation.

It's ironic there's a notice of firmware update that seemingly came with the app update to 2.02. Maybe the firmware update corrects the connection issue, maybe not. But the app cannot or will not make a WiFi connection to the dashcam so the firmware update is moot.
Lastly to Audi...Testing the app thoroughly before releasing an update would easily identify (serious) issues with this app IMHO.

Terrible Software!
Don’t expect to be able to use this to access your recordings. It fails to connect to the wifi with the UTR, or eventually connects then fails to maintain a connection, or just freezes. It’s impossible to install any operating system updates on the UTR without a stable connection. Infuriating being as this is from a reputable manufacturer. You end up having to remove the micro SD card and access the recordings via a micro to SD adaption on a laptop.

Software fail
How hard is it to create software that works? It is shameful this has been released to market when it just does not work. $1,200 quality camera system rendered useless by back software.
Entirely flawed design
It’s utter garbage. The entire system works with this app, it’s next to useless without it. Unfortunately the way the app connects is via an inbuilt WiFi access point. The car also provides a different WiFi access point for Apple car play. The app for the car will always force you to automatically connect to the car WiFi, if you manually select the UTR WiFi the app will swap you back off it to the car WiFi so that you can use CarPlay. The only solution appears to be to disable car WiFi then connect to the device. Totally impractical.
You can’t export the videos from the app, you can only download from camera to app, you can’t use it whilst the car is moving, you can’t easily “protect” a file to prevent it being deleted.
I’ve now got a second memory card, if I have an accident I’ll simply power the system down and remove the card, then put the spare one in.
A pointless expensive system and Audi should be ashamed.

Doesn’t work
Figured they would have fixed this as they are still selling the UTR. Doesn’t work.
This app is lame!!!
The cameras are ok, the hardware works fine. But this app doesn’t work at all. If I try to watch the videos on the app, the connection drops. It’s a shame that Audi puts this worthless app along with a great hardware.
