Outstanding OCR
Prizmo Go is unbelievably good, way better than everything else I’ve tried, so long as the text is in clear blocks. I use it with Genius Scan +, export to Photos, and OCR the last picture taken. Most times is 100%, sometimes needs a bit of correction, which is very easy to do, in the app or at the place you copy the text to. Brilliant.Show lessWilf Forrow

Tried to upgrade. I tried to give you even more money. But no. I encounter an endless loop of updating my credit card info, having to sign into my iTunes account, and then back to the credit card. Wasted 30 mins on this process, and even tried it on the iPad and after restarting the phone. This does me no good without being able to copy the text out. I’m done.Show lessDGESQ

The best OCR app by far—flawless results
Ignore the bad reviews, which are written by people who don’t seem to have managed to use the app properly: the Text Export pack (which is all I needed to use this regularly) is well worth the tiny amount, and developers can’t work for free.
As a writer and researcher I need to extract text from printed material, and after many years of typing or scanning, I tried other OCR apps (English OCR was the last), then dictating, but these always needed extensive editing and re-reading.
Pizmo Go is flawless, compared to any other method, and any other OCR app. It’s interface and OCR recognition function so well, I can read in bed, find a passage I want to extract or quote, pick up my phone and within a minute I have the exact text to paste wherever I want, no editing needed.
If you are the makers of this brilliant and incredibly useful app, and you’re reading this, don’t change a thing (and please *never, ever* sell it off to another company)! Pizmo Go is perfect, and my life as an avid reader and note-taker has been made so much easier, thanks to this small but perfectly-formed app. It does one thing, and does it perfectly.Show lessdeveritt
Useless as a free app
This app is just a preview for showing you that it’s capable of doing but it’s supposed to. But unless you pay it is a truly useless It will only let you copy and paste five words or so. It does seem to work well. However, a free alternative is Google translate which you can use to translate English to English for example and it will just transcribe the written text from English to English on your screen and then you can cut-and-paste it and use it as you will. Hello. Prizmo Go comes as a free app to let users try built-in OCR as well as Cloud OCR via the free trial before buying. We have determined that a number of users preferred it that way, instead of paying first and then possibly be disappointed. Kind regards. /TCLiterally, the best app of its kind!

It’s stupid
I wrote reviews before on similar topics but here I go again, ok so I understand that not every feature is/should be, free. But you take away some basic features that are the bare minimum, you can’t copy and past without paying and even if you do it the normal way (not using the copy button) it adds a stupid thing at the bottom of the sentence. Again I understand that the app shouldn’t be completely free but why can’t you at least let you be able to copy thing but selecting them? I suggest to use google translate (translate English to English using the camera then copy the “translation”) it works better at identifying text and it’s mostly free😀. Anyway the developers must be getting tired of me. 😂😀Show lessgjgjjg

Just charge one amount rather than monthly/yearly subscriptions. So many developers are going down that track.
