overall summary
the lights themselves aren’t actually to bad. they change colour, feature and brightness with the app and the buttons bu the thing i don’t like about these lights is that you can only use the music with apple music. This is annoying because none of the people i know use apple music so all you can play is jinglebells over and over again. Also, the mic is meant to change the colour and speed if the lights according to your voice but they actually just flash very quickly and it gets very annoying

Works but needs improvement
The app works, in so much as it is really easy to connect to the light and control it. But there are so many things missing that would make it far better.
1. The music function only lets me play Jingle Bells, says everything else is copyright?!
2. There’s no memory function - takes ages to find a plain ‘warm white’ colour that I’d use for everyday use but then no way of saving that setting
3. All the flashing modes are far too fast, would bring on a fit!
A few minor improvements and this would be 5*

I’m very unsatisfied with this product and the app
I ordered these light strips so I can make my basement look cool. I open it up, set them up, and when I wanted to connect them across the room turns out I needed a completely new kit because it won’t let you extend them. Also, when I cut (where the instructions told me to), some of the lights stopped working although they told me to cut there. All in all this company needs a lot more work on:
1. Better instruction manual
2. Simpler setup and no need to buy a new kit to connect lights across the room (at least a heads up note or something)

Disappointed to say the least
Got these lights as a gift. Was excited to put them in my room. They’re all hung up and the lights themselves work beautifully. But any lights will work and do the job, right? I was mainly excited for the lights to sync to your music in your phone. This app not only freezes and crashes every 5 minutes but it doesn’t even let you play your own music because of a “copyright issue.” If you fix those problems with the app then my review would be a no brainer 5 star.

Mm.. it’s alright :/
These lights are amazing and easy to work once connected, but the reason why I bought these LED lights was to play my own music while having the lights pair to it. At first the app didn’t even have a “select your own music option” so I had to wait till an update. And even with the update and having the ability to play my own music there’s a copyright notification that keeps popping up interfering with me playing music :(

No music
What a shame. I was really excited for the music feature, that’s the whole reason I bought them. The music does not work at all. It’s supposed to work with Apple Music but it claims there’s a copyright issue so it won’t play your music. The one song it did come with “Jingle bells” crashes the app when I try to play it.
Aside from the music issue, I also have 3 individual lights that change opposite colors from the wrest of the lights. So if I have it set on white, those three will be yellow. And for the blue cycle those lights black out.
Definitely a waste of time and money. I’m definitely disappointed with this product.

Add a timer
Hey can you please add a timer so the strip lights turn on/off automatically at the set time. This would be great if you could do that :) thnx.
Would be 5 stars if music worked
The lights work perfectly and I’m very satisfied with the quality. The only downside to this product is the music. I can’t play any of my music through the app because the music has copy right liabilities. This is understandable, but there needs to be an option that supports apps that don’t have copy right material on them like for example SoundCloud. I bought these lights because of the music feature, and since that doesn’t work, I give this app 2 stars.

Eh
So, the lights themselves are easy to work, and once you play around, they work wonderfully. However, I cannot listen to any of my own music on the app because of “copyright reasons”... which is an issue, considering a huge reason I bought these particular lights were so I could jam out with them. Another thing is the app crashes when I go to play the music already there. It says it was fixed, but it was not. If these two issues are fixed, this app is easily 5 stars, as are the lights.

Functionality
Overall, it was easy to set up the lights and connecting it to my phone. Only concern I have as of now is that the app crashes when I play music. Even though it was ATTEMPTED to “fix” these issues, it is still occurring. Please fix it because it’s one of the main components to the product.
