  • iOS app has been buggy for MONTHS

The app is supposed to give you a certain number of coins every day so that you can use it on the chickens that hatch when you and your friends have sent enough gifts to each each other. Well, my number of coins has been 04 months. I actually can't even see the balance anymore because the coin button on the top right corner does not work at all. They keep saying that they're still working on it, but that has also been months. I also cannot visually see the chicken that I have hatched with my friends until I click on the buggy egg icon. What is going on?

  • Decent interface but coop options broken

So… I have 7 chicks between a friend and well, their options for collecting coins and what not doesn’t exist. I followed their tutorial and the button to collect coins to spend in the coop store is non-existent.

Outside of this the app seems OK. I haven’t had any issues with my orders and it’s nice I can order ahead. Sometimes vendors mess up though and make options as mandatory which is super frustrating but it’s not SP’s fault. Just realize there’s weird issues like that.

But please fix the My Coop section! I want to buy more outfits for my chicks!

  • Used to be good, now is mid

This app used to be so fun but one-by-one they’re removing great features. First they removed the in-app map and gift wallets. Not terrible but still inconvenient. Next they remove party links and NOW parties altogether—as a college student tight on money, the discounts were the whole reason I got the app in the first place. Most stores in my university’s area used the party feature for discounts so now everything is more expensive. Snackpass clearly tried to cater towards college students so I’m not sure why they’re suddenly taking away features we loved the most away. I hope they reinstate these features because that’s why I got the app

  • the app is getting worse and worse

Sure, the app has always been laggy, but the idea was great and there was a lot of functionality. Now, the updates are supposed to give it better performance, but the app can’t do anything anymore. There’s no place to look at all of your points at once (which is pretty important since then you can specifically decide where to go by where you have a free thing from). I can’t send a gift to a friend. I can’t even search for stores that are far from me, or even if I find it because a friend has gone there recently, I can’t click on it to see the menu.

  • Worst Customer Service of My Life

This app has terrible customer service - incompetent staff who will talk with you for a long time but never give you a refund even if you literally did not get your food.

In my case, I ordered Snack Pass delivery. The driver came within a few blocks of me then stopped. I called them three times, but they never answered. As it turned out they dropped my food at a random building 3 blocks away. Night of I did not know this, all I knew is that the driver randomly marked delivery complete and I did not get my food. I demanded a refund. It took a full week, and I submitted 5 pictures of my calls to the driver, pictures of my building, and pictures of the street, which Snack Pass rudely demanded. All for $40 worth of food that i never got which they could have easily refunded. Instead, they said that because Uber Eats manages their delivery, and Uber Eats was not willing to give a refund, they denied the order. Of course, the customer service agent was so grossly incompetent that I suspect if I had just used Uber Eats I could have gotten the refund.

    Screw this trash app/company.

  • The worst customer service app…

The app is terrible with many bugs. Sometimes just ordering stuff doesn’t work. If you call their phone line they say they don’t have a working phone line. I tried to place a order, clicked check out and said an error has occurred so I check out again. Then I noticed 2 orders where placed. Don’t even know how it happens because if you checkout shouldn’t the cart be cleared? Or shouldn’t it bring you to the receipt? Worst part is contacted customer support on the app no response then emailed them and said nope couldn’t give refund even though it is their problem

Thanks for your feedback! Refund decisions are made by the restaurant where you placed your order. If you feel a restaurant has declined your refund in error, we encourage you to contact our customer support team so they can review your case individually and assist. Thank you!
  • Convenient but glitchy

I’ve used it for almost a year now and had no problem ordering food and when it applies, gifting friends my points used to be easy but suddenly I can’t anymore. Every time the option to gift points appear, the app no longer filters to my friends but instead just random people who have the app and even when I do my contacts it doesn’t filter nor show people I’ve previously sent points to. All in all it’s very annoying. It used to be fine so idk what happened.

  • Cool idea, really glitchy and slow at times

This app is a cool idea it has some social aspects to ordering from various different local restaurants. You can qualify for discounts when you order with friends. However the app seems to randomly lose the location permission setting. Also sometimes when selecting from the list of restaurants it gets really slow and takes 20 to 30 seconds to even select a restaurant after you tap it. These things can make it a very frustrating experience for what should be a very straightforward and simple process to order a coffee or a sandwich from my local restaurant.

  • Bad customer service and will not refund on missing deliveries

Snackpass has awful customer service the inherently inhuman robot system they have set up is slow and if it is a real person on the other end, they can be very rude. I ordered food for delivery and I put in the instructions to call when they arrive. Instead when the driver arrived here, they did not even try to text/call me and when I went downstairs to pick it up, my order was gone. I contacted Snackpass customer service and they said they tried to ask the delivery courier for a refund but it was denied and therefore they cannot provide any refund for me. I find this extremely frustrating and weird as to why they would offer delivery service at all on their app if they cannot guarantee delivery or provide aid when they don’t deliver. The delivery set up is even weirder as it uses a second party service to deliver and when you order for delivery through their app it provides you with a link to track it that only updates semi frequently. Half the time the page wasn’t updated and didn’t show where my driver was in real time. I even contacted them again to see if they could reach out again for a refund since I placed it through their app and asked why they couldn’t refund it and they instead ignored my message.

  • Love the app, but one suggestion

I love snackpass as a college student. I use it every time I order food to send gifts to my friends. I even like it more after I hatch a bird. I like sending chirps to my friend. One suggestion that I have is to make a widget for sending chirps. It would be really nice if I can just click the widget in the home screen and send chirps to my friends. Thank you!
