Great EV App
Of the 7 or 8 EV apps to at I’ve had to download (yeah, just the sheer number you need to have in your phone if you own an EV is overwhelming), this is one of the better ones. It’s be great if it could show you your charge status without constantly having to step out of your car and hit the button on the screen but can’t complain too much.Show lessFree Chargers User HEHE
Hehe honestly only have this app for their free charging network. Extremely seamless and easy to use. Very fast on my T-Mobile network when point to scan and start the charge.
The chargers I’ve used so far in the Southern California / inland empire area have been slow 6kwh are reliable. Locations are typically within colleges / universities or Malls. Not meant for full tank of charge but its free.
Saves me $50 / month using the free charging network. Money goes back to the location bc im fat and buy a lot of junk.Show lessCadillac Hospitality
While it’s a few miles off of I-59, the hospitality made it worth the extra few miles. The charger on the rear of the building is the more powerful of the two in site which the service reps made extra effort to point out to me.Instructions could be clearer
Even when it’s not my first time using EV Connect, I still get asked unexpected questions in the freezing weather (like which connector are you using, without clear signs which is which). I believe more signage is needed so one could prepare the app before getting off the car and having to read the fine print.Show lessTakes longer to connect than it does to charge
The process for connection takes so long. There needs to be some software updates or bug fixes. I’ve spent 20-30 minutes trying to connect multiple times. It’s ridiculous. Once it’s connected, it will stop due to “internal errors” and I have to reconnect. This makes having an EV not convenient at all. On the plus side, the charging speed is very much appreciated.Show lessEV Connect in Eureka, MO
I’m a visitor to Eureka and have charged our car 3 different times. The charger has worked each time as listed and app/connection has been seamless. This has been a much better experience than at other public charging stations, especially Electrify America stations.Thomas Mahan
This bass been the easiest and most dependable charge station in North Texas, for me.
Right off the exit at Medical Center Blvd, down the Northbound service road, right at the entrance to Friendly Chevrolet.
All fast charging, and a clean well lit place. Kudos to EVHQ FRIENDLY CHEVROLET, for running a class act.
And the people who man the station are the other half of why I keep coming. Nay is almost like family always a friendly greeting and a great smile!!Show lessGreat! (If it’s accessible!)
The ev connect stations that are located on public property work great. The app is easy to use and keeps you informed about the status of your charge.
My complaint is that the map feature in the app shows you all ev connect stations. Many of which are located in private parking lots or parking garages. Some you can quietly slip in and use for an hour or two. But many are behind a gate or garage door which you can’t access without credentials. I’ve spent a lot of time driving from one ev station to another trying to find one that I can actually use.Show lessThe time you spend to charge your car is unacceptable
The management must do something about it asap, at least 30 minutes to charge it should be enough instead of two hours to charge it to 100% it’s a time wasting and loss of money as wellGreat location
Very good location with a gas station across the parking lot where you can grab a coffee or snack while you charge. Wish they had more than one station since I have had to wait in line before.
