Can it really be this dysfunctional?
Worked great for one day. Day two, everything went ketchup to mustard. Connected app to controller, all favorites gone, desk will only move down. Go to website (This is apparently a very popular problem Linak) I initialize desk, on the screen it says it’s 1.0 height. Operating the controller gets me to 2.0in height. Thought maybe the desk height was wrong, tried to change it, can’t.
You folks need to get your code together. The “release it it’s good enough”philosophy doesn’t work for something this ridiculously bug riddenShow lessmtfpdx
Broken app - Horrible
The “You” tab of the app does not work. Will never show the standing data for the current day. Hitting “Today” just shows the previous day. App does not seem to consistently track and record standing data. Linak sells this app as a major feature of their standing desk hardware yet it is broken. There are other major bugs including losing all of the profile information you’ve previously input (height, weight, auto drive, and reminder preferences). About the only thing that works is moving the desk via the app when the app actually connects properly to the desk. Also the developer needs to enable the app to be installed on Mac M1 desktops. The developer / Linak is completely ignoring the major issues with this app. Last update was 6 months ago. They will just comment “thanks for your feedback.” Horrible customer support.Show lessanon28282828

Love that my desk has an app I can connect to it with. I love that I can control it. That’s about it.
The app is glitchy, it deleted all of my user settings the first couple of times I used it. It shows yesterday’s info but not today’s. It doesn’t refresh data from the desk if the app wasn’t opened that day.
Seems like it could use a reevaluation and to have the developers actually use the app daily. Based on how it’s built, it doesn’t seem like they use the desks at all.Show lessPhilMographer

Same situation as a recent reviewer on my iMovr Lander desk, every time I open the app my presets have all disappeared and the app reverts back to “Guest” mode. Even after changing back to “Owner” the desk heights are all wrong (3.8” from the ground is an impossible height) and my settings for automatic drive, challenges and stand reminders are gone. I basically have to reconfigure all my settings and remeasure the desk height every time I use the app.Show lessCobraTaco

Recently the app has started this thing where I’ll launch it and it will have no presets stored anymore and is also showing an obviously wrong height (e.g., the app shows the desk height as 9.9 inches when the desk itself shows 32.4 inches). I reset it once by uninstalling / reinstalling but it’s done it again now so I think I’m giving up. Hopefully this will be fixed at some point.

The application crashes almost every time i use it. It will crash in the middle of moving to a preset often.
Would also be nice to just press the preset button instead of having to hold.mlewis9548

This desk app needs to support a ‘one touch’ desk adjustment for my favourited heights. What’s the point of this app if I can do it easier and quicker through the physical button on the desk? The App developers response to comments like this is that your desk must support automatic height adjustments. I really find it difficult to believe that their engineers cannot code the app to do this automatically without needing to change the desk hardware. The only conclusions I can come to is that this is a money grab or they may need to hire better engineers. I literally don’t use this app at all. Once you set your favourite heights on the app, the desk stops automatically at those heights using the physical button on the desk so no need to use this horrible app. (Watch them remove this feature so they can force you to use the useless app).Show lessghhhhjjkkl

Hi, thanks for your feedback. If your desk supports automatic drive, you can enable the feature in the 'More' menu. In some countries automatic drive is not allowed (for safety reasons). Thus, this feature is not available in these countries. Best regards, LINAK A/SFrustrating
Had the desk for less than a week and the app seems to have erased my 3 favorite positions today. At first I thought the app was broken earlier in the week because I didn’t realize I had to hold my favorite. That should just be a tap and go in my opinion. I also don’t need these challenges and would rather it not pop up to remind to set those up. Now time to set up my favorites again…Show lessPaintball Steve
