Changed the phone and login with FB not working. Remote home is out of control. The app is not stable, routines crashes randomly and as a result uses a lot of electricity when not needed. Sad for poor development

Cant connect wifi

I have the first gen wifi heaters. Five of them. In the 3 years Ive had them I would say the app had worked for maybe 6 months. The new version of the app is completely unable to pair with these heathers. It just gets stuck on “Wait for the blinking blue lights”.

Ive tried contacting support but after weeks of waiting, no reply. Unless something changes I would say in no uncertain terms - please dont waste your money on their products.

Ok. Needs improving.

Connecting the radiators was quick and not too complicated. The app itself is quite glitchy. If you try to change the temp on separate radiators in quick succession it doesn’t work. The energy usage doesn’t refresh automatically. The scheduling take a while to get used to and it not easy to understand.
Radiators are great but more investment in the app please!

Very difficult to understand

I really like being able to program my radiators, but this app makes it very difficult to do so. The way it’s organized is opaque, making schedule adjustments is confusing, and it seems to be impossible to program more than two temperatures in one room.

It doesn’t control the temp?

Scheduling is complicated and crashed several times whilst setting up but seems to be working ok.

But controlling the heater temperature works sometimes (after 5-10 minutes) but then other times doesn’t work at all. We have 4 heaters in different areas of the house which have now just become manual heaters.

🤷 it’s annoying as otherwise it’s a nice looking app that gives you good info from the heaters. I don’t know why they haven’t tried to fix this as we’ve had the same issues for a year. They must’ve already invested too much £££ and it’s too much of a mess in the back end to fix.

Shockingly unintuitive

Really totally p***sed off with this app’. Had it working for about a year then changed my broadband provider to EE and was given a new router. Now I can’t connect the app and heaters to the router so am left with “dumb” unprogrammable heaters - total waste of money.

It keeps saying “incorrect wifi credentials” when I try to connect . Done everything I can find online, ensured it’s set to 2.4ghz - I’ve even reset the router password numerous times, ensuring no special characters are in it and it still won’t connect. Contacted Adax support and done everything they’ve said. So angry and disappointed with this.

Hey, Sorry to hear, we had a problem with a few units with a firmware that didn't accept spesial characters in SSID / network name and password. Please contact support for help. Regards Adax AS PS: with a new router you have to re-install for security reasons.

Such a shame!

I purchased 4 of the wifi heaters last winter and they worked fine, occasionally disconnecting from the wifi but this was resolved from a quick reset.

I don’t know what has happened in the last month or so (maybe an update to the firmware?) but they are completely unfit for purpose unless you’re happy with a manual heater. The heaters drops off from the wifi within a couple of hours and I’ve now given up resetting them 10 times a day…they’re now just used as manual heaters (very expensive manual heaters!!!)

It’s a shame because they are good looking heaters and heat the rooms well but the wifi/app element is unfit for purpose.

If the app developer reads this, please revert the firmware to what is what a month ago because it worked fine. Why fix something that’s not broken

Scheduling doesn’t work!

The app looks nice and has some good features, but the most basic of these, especially in terms of minimising the environmental impact, doesn’t work! The scheduling feature appears reasonably simple to setup and activate, after some fiddling at least, but randomly de-activates itself. This means you’re no longer working to a set-back schedule and the heater is burning through energy overnight working to keep the room at the normal set temperature! There’s no notification of this, so it occurs without you knowing unless you check the app every day and re-activate the schedule. If you have to do that, there isn’t much point in having an automated schedule feature! A real shame, as it was promising, but badly let down by poor software testing and quality control.

Bug continues

No matter what you do with the programming, the Monday sleep time reverts back to some weird default and you cannot adjust it. Even by deleting the schedule and starting over. Frustrating.

Enklere enn dette kan det ikke gjøres å legge til to ovner og få begge vist på telefonen. Deretter vises begge på samme side og hvis du vil forandre temperaturen under: «Ønsket temperatur» vil et trykk på enten pluss eller minus forandre temperaturen på begge ovnene. «Rommets temperatur» vises hele tiden.
Dette er et utmerket system som jeg liker meget godt, kan anbefales på det sterkeste.
