Really Poor App - too many bugs

This app allows you to link a payment gift card to the wallet. However if there is not enough money on the gift card when you come to purchase your drinks, the app will NOT give you the stamps! I highlighted this to the support team and was ignored!

Another issue with the app is when you get a free voucher for a drink, if you have been fortunate to collect enough stamps. The till does not always accept them. Thus you get told you must have already used it which has NOT been the case. Had the same issue when also claiming the free Waitrose coffee when I linked my card to the App. I know i am not the only person that experiences these issues as staff and other customers have said the same to me.

This App/Nero IT need better design/development investment and above all proper testing. It is truly frustrating and not great customer experience. Not just for the person impacted by the issues but also for those waiting in the queue.

Tastes good, but stores and corporate can be stingy

I always find some employee who just cannot help me with this complicated app and if I buy something the proper stamps don’t go on. And if I ask for support from corporate, they never give those stamps upfront immediately. Why can’t your customer service be top tier as much as the taste of the food and drink? Frustrating to say the least.

Absolute headache

I downloaded to app to save time and pre order breakfast before work. Placed an order one day and the receipt wouldn’t show up for the click and collect for over half an hour despite logging in and out and changing to data) only thing that would show instead was error. I got charged for this order and got nothing in return. Started to chat to customer service they reply a day later with tips, far too late for that. Messages again for a refund on the app and this conversation took three weeks absolute joke and every time I would bring up a refund the agent would ignore it like it’s invisible, contacted through email and they said I could get refund yet the app agent was still busy asking me the type of phone I have response times were ten years apart. Disputed with my bank and got a refund before the app agent agreed despite showing the email confirming I can get refund for the 100th time. If anything goes wrong w the app, you’ll receive help a month later with 1000 useless questions.

Not reliable

The app logged me out & now I can’t access my account information or use it to mobile order or collect stamps. It doesn’t show my payment card, but when I put it again, it tells me it’s already linked. Same with my phone number. FAQs are so basic they’re not helpful.
Annoying & unreliable, like competitors’ apps. Is this just a crappy app or a way to grab money, prevent stamp collection & annoy customers….

Love the app but should have gift card upload

The app is awesome and makes getting vouchers, rewards, and discounts easy as well as paying seamless! However, it is missing an option to upload gift cards. With that improvement it would actually be perfect.

EASY

The app is so easy to use and I do not have to keep up with a card for rewards. I can even load my payment method on there and can do everything via my phone!! It makes coffee on the go…EASY!

Amazing! But Mywaotrose won’t work?!

I am a regular user of the Kingston branch, I have Votality so free and discou ted coffe is plentifull! Staff are friendly, coffe is great , the atmosphere of the shops are *chefs kiss*. However, 3 days ago I was fiddling around with the apps notification setting. I saw you could link a Mywaitrose card. Yesterday, I went back on the app to link it and the button had disappeared! Just not there where it usually is, under student verification. I have scoured the internet and cannot find anyone having this problem. Putting it out on refit I got a few replies, some others have said the same. However, I am currently on holiday in Rome. Is this the problem? Maybe because the pronation is not available in Rome. I will see when I am back. Altogether, I live Nero, except this small hiccup.

App is difficult to navigate.

App is difficult to navigate. I wish it was more apparent—“How to place the actual order.” Took me forever to figure out I need a location first. A simple place order button, then ask for location?? Also, when ordering a latte, shots and sweetener x1/x2 options. Not clear if it’s in addition to the usual shots, or if we are only allowed one or two shots total?? I still don’t know!! Lol DD and Starbucks easier to understand. TY- :)

No iWatch app and no Apple Pay

Works fine as far as a loyalty app but without a watch compatible app it is only half the app it should be. Additionally, no Apple Pay or PayPal for payment option - so it is just stuck as a loyalty app because I am not giving yet another company my credit card number.

Horrible payment options

Added 2 different cards for payment, and it still won’t work. Practically a useless app for online order, which is what is was made for apparently.
