This app has a lot of bugs and awkward work flows that is frustrating as a user.

I wish it was more apparent—“How to place the actual order.”
Took me forever to figure out I need a location first.
A simple place order button, then ask for location??
Also, when ordering a latte, shots and sweetener x1/x2 options. Not clear if it’s in addition to the usual shots, or if we are only allowed one or two shots total?? I still don’t know!! Lol
DD and Starbucks easier to understand.

Tips?

You are doing a disservice to your employees. You NEED to add the ability to tip from the app!

Very difficult to order.

I frequently can’t find a screen from which to order. It’s a nuisance to have to constantly search for my usual store. It should be possible to store favorites.

Nice app!

The one thing I would mention is that while the app does a great job taking mobile orders, mobile orders have not been integrated into workflows. They tend to just sit at the terminal that spit them out while the staff focuses in person orders.

Rating the service I just received in the Caterham store

I have just bought two coffees and two pieces of cake from the Caterham store and received the worst, most sullen service I have ever encountered. The young lady came to the counter eating something herself, as in, food was in her hand and she was actively eating while she served me, which I found unusual.

She made the take away coffees and proceeded to put the lids on the cups. I asked for chocolate to be added. Her response, on Lattes? I said no, cappuccinos. She replied you asked for Lattes. No I didn’t! Yes, you did. No, I asked for Cappucinos. I was with my adult daughter who confirmed I had ordered Cappucinos. And as she rightfully pointed out. I don’t like Lattes, I never drink Lattes, why would I suddenly order two now?! After an on going “yes you did, no I didn’t” ridiculous scenario, I requested that she just made me two Cappucinos. I am honestly blown away by how rude and obnoxious this young lady was. If she hates her job so much, maybe she should reconsider. I also have the option of reconsidering where I purchase my coffee. I’m sure Costa over the road will be receiving a lot more of my custom going forwards!

Would have been faster just to order through the staff

Forgot mobile order

No tipping feature

This app does what it needs to do - let’s me pay for my coffee and tracks my purchases so I can get a free cup when I hit nine. My major complaint is that the app doesn’t include the ability to tip my barista. I suspect this intentional, but I hopefully I’m wrong. Add tipping and I will up my rating to 4 stars.

Missing key features

Not able to use student discount if card is not linked even if you are verified. New seasonal drinks are not shown on the menu, the app needs a specialty drinks section that is updated for every season.
