Piece of Happiness

I bought myself the Pura Nest Holiday Set for Christmas. I love waking up to the programmed 7:30 am scent extravaganza! In these crazy times, I am grateful for a small piece of daily joy.
I enjoy adjusting the scent program to meet my family’s needs. I liked that I was able to turn down the scent while my elderly in-laws were here for Christmas Dinner. I also love that there are no irritants for my dog so I don’t have to worry about her. The night light is so pretty and completely adjustable! I can’t wait to buy more scents! Pura- please bring your scents to Canada by subscription! Until then, I will purchase them on Sephora and Amazon. I think I’m going to save a lot of $$ not having to buy expensive candles anymore. Bonus!!

Terrible customer service

I am so disappointed in the customer service of this company. For days last week, my device was constantly showing offline. I reached out to their customer service and got a generic answer. I’ve been trying to swap out a scent for almost 2 weeks on their app and it doesn’t work. I emailed customer service regarding my issues with swapping my scent, instead of receiving help, I received an email that said my issue had been started in another conversation and my current conversation would be moved there and continued. Silence, no continuing of the conversation and still no help. In the meantime, I was charged again for the scent I've been trying to swap out. Emailed again this morning - no answer once again. I will be cancelling my subscription and tossing this product in the trash.

Two devices neither work.

If I could give this device zero stars I would. I’ve had both of my devices for couple months. Had a couple issues over those months, but managed to figure them out. Then today out of blue both stop working within hours of each other. First I thought it was my Internet since first device said offline. So went through all steps even connecting to Internet which is working. Only to have it get to updating stage at end and white light never comes on and still says offline. Then I go check my other device and it’s offline too and light is now off. Sick of this. Asking for refund and I’ll go buy bath and body works plug in refills. It did smell nice when it worked. My advice invent a plug in that will disperse fragrance as well as a pura, but doesn’t rely on WiFi. I couldn’t careless about having it on a schedule.

since the updates recently

working good since the recent updates. happy about the night light concept especially working and staying consistently on.
I only tested 2 scents so far. maybe it’s just me but i feel like after 2 weeks I had to bump up the scent number to keep it coming out stronger. like i feel when they were new, i could get away with level 3-4 in my small bathroom. now certain schedules I bump up scent to 8-10 to get it to smell strong enough. we will see how future scents go.

also wish you can save schedules and copy/paste them. so time consuming when you want to conserve certain times. and have so many schedules set up.

Faulty device or faulty software?

Had two devices I purchased through NEST- worked fine. Bought this last one directly from PURA and it’s a useless piece of plastic. It will not connect to the app. Tried for over an hour and went through every troubleshooting technique there is. Emailed customer service and basically got “it’s not you it’s us”. They are claiming it’s a backend software issue and I should just be patient for 24-48 hours. Scratching my head at how this is the case when I have two other devices that connect just fine. Clearly the productive is defective but no hope of a refund. If I don’t get a working device in 48 hours I will work through Amex to get money back and label this company as bogus. Too bad- looks like it could have been a great product but lack of reliability and failure to make it right and support the “30 day guarantee” on the box has scam written all over it.

Pricing Changes/ App adjustments

I really like the concept of pura. I’ve used pura for about a year and it’s awesome. However, I think I’m getting locked into a price because that’s what I’m told, but the pricing changes every month. I was told I could have a discount locked in because I was on their original pricing before the changes. I also only get the pura scents, because the other ones are too expensive. Some months I’m charged for shipping, some months I’m not. Sometimes I get a discount, sometimes I don’t. Its just really complicated and I’d like for it to be a little more organized and consistent when it comes to pricing.

Also, the app is helpful, but there’s no “back” button when you’re trying to navigate. I was swapping out a subscription and wanted to read about some scents first, and I kept having to exit out of the app and get back in and start over because you can’t just push “back”.

Overall pura really is an awesome concept. I like the convenience of controlling it by my phone, and they have really unique scents.

Just a couple of adjustments:
1. Make the pricing consistent and make sure the original people would be locked in on the old pricing plan every month without me having to reach out for a special code-because that’s what we were told.
2. Make the app easier to navigate to go back and forth when swapping out scents.

Could be better But I love it bought 3 and gifted one

Love these last long but you could alarm on the app that it’s almost empty. When it is instead you have to delete entire App reset scan again it’s already a pain that you cannot overlap an existing schedule oops! If I wanna put 2 schedules in the same dispenser and one is 8 am to 3 pm god forbid Pura ! No!! This overlaps you’re existing? How’s that when the other scent is 3:30 To 8 pm Best thing to do with a second or third device is Copy Schedules!
As Far as the delivery Fast Clean and Safe.
The Bamboo scent is amazing and the Rose in my sunroom? Getting mega compliments. I have cats and a dog and this is definitely helping in the summer and in quarentine not being able to obtain freshness cleaners constantly as before. Limited to naturally now and with this App you get a constant fragrance of clean with linens and specific oceans. So you can use healthy cleaners and get a fresh scent from Pura.

Okay in bedrooms

I bought one device for my living room/entryway. I have a small home 1100 sqft. It sucked for that purpose. I was really disappointed because it’s a great idea. No matter how many hours I left it on or the intensity, you could only smell it if you stood two feet away from it. I have a small home! I’m not expecting it to smell the whole house up, BUT it should of made my living room smell good. Nada. :( I moved it in my room and it seems to be doing just fine. If you’re getting it for individual rooms the device/cartridge works well.

The app has some bugs that still need to get worked out. I have only had this for 6 weeks and I’ve had to factory reset the device and I will manually delete “schedule” and then when I re-open the app there they are. It’s very frustrating.

Loving our Pura

We have had our Pura devices in our home and business since September and we absolutely love them! I am grateful for all the work and care they have put into their devices & fragrances. You can tell they have put a lot of work in their app and it is very user friendly. The schedule feature is really nice. I love the FAQ and that I can manage my subscriptions from the app as well. All of the fragrances we have received so far smell wonderful and I am loving the holiday one currently! Their customer service is excellent and very prompt! Emails with Gil were very helpful and appreciated! I am grateful for a company who values their customers and provides 5 star products! Thanks Pura!
