  • Good App

Keeps track of readings most of the time. Sometimes the latest readings don’t show up in the history and you have to do some steps to fix it. Also have to regularly reconnect the Bluetooth. Like how I can download the readings and print to take to the doctor or email them.
  • Work great

    I like it
  • Love this app

Like many others, I searched for many apps and equipment and found this. Accurate and simple to use. Bluetooth to phone. Keeps records and history. I’m still on the original batteries installed at purchase 2 years ago. It also comes with AC adapter.
  • Works Great

Only issue is, if I don’t use it regularly, it will log out and will not use the saved password. I’ll reset the password, update my password manager, use it to log in but if it logs out again, I MUST reset a new password.
  • Constant sign in nightmares

This app requires a login. You might think that’s no big deal, but as implemented it’s basically a barrier to entry. Once you set up a password you might be able to log in that day but next time you try the credentials will not be recognized. So you try to reset your password which requires an email with a reset link. Then you try resetting via the link but somehow the URL to reset the password is different from the URL for the app so even after resetting you still can’t log in. Etc etc etc.

Basically this app is meant to monitor your blood pressure but it is guaranteed to increase your blood pressure just trying to use it.

  • Okay

The device is great and the app works ok… when it works. Out of the blue, I’ve been having an issue where I have an empty history. I need to keep track of historical pressures so I can share those with my doctor, who is trying to find me the right meds. Frustratingly, I can see some of the historical readings on the chart - so I know the data is THERE, but the history just says “no entries yet”. I’ve tried removing the device and re-pairing, and that doesn’t help. It used to integrate well with Apple Health but stopped. When I go to re-integrate, the app crashes, so I can’t even get my history there. An app update is badly needed to fix basic usability issues, or I’ll need to move to another device and app.

  • I have used this device since 2018.

Very easy to use and sync with my iPhone. I have used it a couple of days since 2018. Then I show it to my doctor when I go in for my annual visit. Works fine!
  • Have been using it for about 5 years.

It is the perfect way to keep tabs on your blood pressure. I like printing the readings, my doctor likes to keep the print out on our file.
  • BP App That Raises Your BP

This app is designed for the Balance BP machine. If the same thought and care is out in the hardware as the app, then the machine is useless.

I use a password manager to manage my passwords with very few problems for every app but this one. With this app, if I haven’t used it in a few months it gives me any invalid password message and requires a reset. I’m not typing it in wrong, it is coming from my password manager.

Then after dealing with that, I get a rating pop up. I select Don’t Link, but I am unable to type a message so the send button is not enabled. So I cancel it and hit Not Now at the rating’s prompt. It pops up again. And again and again. The only viable option is to keep hitting Not Now until eventually they stop without rating them. So next time we can do it again.

  • Generally Reliable

I usually take three readings at a time for purposes of averaging, and the unit and app seem to be *generally* reliable; sometimes, however, only two of the readings will transfer. This requires one to check the history to see which was dropped and to enter it manually. A small annoyance, but I can’t ID a cause.

It’d be nice to have the option to graph the average of readings taken within (for example) 15 minutes of each other rather than just the most recent ones, and to be able to compare morning and evening numbers. Otherwise, OK, it’s pretty basic but does record all the readings and allow for export.
