  • Horrible

What do you think of an app that makes you log in for every use and pair your monitor every time. Sorry. I’ll keep track of my blood pressure manually from now on.

And I rated this 1 star also because how it tries to force you to “like” it when you first log in. It throws up around a dozen rating windows all at once. If i say I don’t like it, I get a robot asking why, but it doesn’t bring up the keyboard.

Love the monitor but this app is the worst I’ve seen since 2008!

  • Great App

It’s so great to have a log of all my readings so I don’t have to write them down! And it’s great to print out to show my doctor, or just show him the App log.
  • Easy to use, extremely helpful

I’ve been using this app for well over a year now, and I love it. I have a lot of medical issues and my cardiologist has me routinely taking my blood pressure, especially since I’m on a medication to raise my blood pressure. I take my blood pressure 3x a day when I take each dose of my blood pressure medication. Using the Bluetooth blood pressure cuff is so easy and works so well! It automatically loads into the app. Even if I haven’t loaded every single one into the app, as soon as my BP cuff connects it automatically loads in any readings I forgot to load into the app.

The people leaving bad reviews saying you can’t annotate readings, are wrong. You absolutely can, they must be having trouble figuring it out.

My only issue was that the history went blank for a while, but I called their customer service number and they were so kind and helpful, and its all fixed within 2 minutes!

One of my favorite features is that you can export a spreadsheet of all your readings. This makes it incredibly easy to share my blood pressure readings with my cardiologist.

    Thank you Greater Goods!

  • So many usability problems, so little time

I dislike the fact that every time k launch the app I need to sign in again. And every time I sign in I need to reset my password for some reason. And the password reset form doesn’t work on the mobile browser. Then I finally get logged in and I get spammed with dozens of “like the app? Rate it!” popups that all need to be cleared individually. And if I say “don’t like it,” it raises a form for me to fill out - but it doesn’t accept any input into the text area.

How about making the app actually work for the basic case of someone measuring their blood pressure (often in an emergency situation) and add the other stuff later, and optionally?

There’s no need for the app to require a login anyway; iOS already has HealthKit that does everything the account does, and better.

  • Constantly loses monitor, shady review practices

This app constantly loses its connection to my Balance monitor, to the point where I have to re-sync it almost every time I use it. Sometimes when I launch it, I get the Welcome screen flashing repeated to the point where I have to manually kill it and restart. But worse, the app will often ask me if I like it: if I say no, it prompts me for feedback on a screen that doesn’t even work, so I can’t submit negative feedback or a review. Don’t think that’s a coincidence.

That said, when it works, it seems to work okay.

  • Transferred data once and never again

Apparently the app will only hold the last three readings, and the unit has over 55 readings in it. The last times I tried to connect it gave me some errors when it was synchronizing. Then I shut the app down logged in and it did not try to synchronize anymore. Only has the three first readings I had ever taken and successfully transferred. Something is wrong fundamentally which disappoints me greatly

  • The Apps Works Well for the Most Part

This is a very good app. It connects well with the BP monitor and syncs in seconds. I have it installed on both my iPhone and iPad. I tend to sync data using my iPhone mostly. Occasionally I will use my iPad, and I have noticed that not only do I need to renter my login credentials, but at times I must go through the setup process again to sync data. I do find this to be frustrating, and it makes no sense to my that this occurs when I frequently use my iPhone to sync data.

I want a Bluetooth blood pressure monitor that will feed Apple Health. I don’t need an account with Greater Goods. App DELETED.
  • Can’t setup device without Internet

There’s no way to pair the device to my phone without an Internet connection. The reason almost certainly because the developers want to harvest users’ medical data (which assumably helps target ads). Completely unacceptable.

I’m not interested in sharing my personal medical data with an app developer.

This ought to be able to send blood pressure data from the device directly to the Apple Health app without any Internet accounts being required at any point.

No wonder the App Store description mentions the developer hasn’t given Apple a detailed privacy policy. I wonder if the reason the app hasn’t been updated for 7 months is because Apple would require the privacy policy details upon their next update.

  • Same issues as others with logging in

And I thought it was an error on my end! Nope - same experiences as reported by others. I have to log in far too frequently and I’m not ever sure if it’s saving where I thought it might be with User A or B. Too bad the developers don’t read the reviews and make changes so that it works in the simple manner one would think.
