Leave a Review Balance Health
Does not understand why people use BP machines
I’ve been using the Qardio machine for several years and while I have concerns about the cuff’s design and quality. the app does one thing that is essential to my needs. It allows me to enter notes such as medication, circumstances, etc. with EACH individual reading. This is CRITICAL information that I need to send to my doctor.
I bought Balanced Health because of its excellent reviews and the fact that it is rechargeable. (I would often go through a set of batteries a week with the Qardio.) So I purchased Balanced Health figuring that anybody who knows anything about people with BP problems would know tracking medications is essential.
You can imagine my disappointment when I discovered there is no way to annotate BP readings. I tried using the Apple Health integration but Apple Health is just as worthless. I’ve been unable to find any device that has this feature. (Hey device developers, if I missed your device/app, please let me know.)
The Balanced Health BP device itself is 5 star but the app needs help. Ideally, the device would integrate with the Qardio app or some other app that has a notes feature. If the Balanced Health app adds the ability to add notes for each reading then I will be a happy camper and change my rating to 5 stars.Show lessThank you!
Easy to use, tracking is a snap, help as I show my doctor what I’m seeing. Would love a place to write a note at the time of my entry if that is something you could consider. Thank you for helping us stay healthy.Old retired lady, never writes reviews...
... but I got this app to pair with my fancy new high-tech (but unbelievably inexpensive) Balance BP monitor. Not only did the app get me set up and taking my BP in about two minutes, but it paired with my Apple Health app in less time that that. AND I had a question about how to add notes to the records in the app, so I sent a help request from the app. Less than 15 minutes later I got an email response, which immediately got me into the notes part of the history. (Thanks, Kiley!) I used to run a physiology research lab back in the day, and I wish we’d had an app and a piece of equipment like this back then! And that the (expensive) equipment we used then had anything near this kind of responsive customer service.Show lessLogs out automatically monthly or so
Would love the app better if I didn’t have to login to it everytime I use it. I only open it like once every 2-3 months. I don’t check my bp often, but I always have to login, then I have to resync the monitor to my app even though when I wasn’t logged in it was trying to import the current reading, but is unable because it needs to be logged in. It’s annoying, but I’m sure if I used it daily or weekly, it would probably be better.Show lessCan’t read data
I’ve been using the blood pressure monitor and balance health app since January. The app hasn’t written data to the Apple health app since February. I notice there hasn’t been an app update in six months. This would be much more effective if I could aggregate my data in Apple Health. Please fix before I replace. Thanks!Show lessGreat when it works.
Nice features and easy to use. I’ve had the app forget the login details several times and after this latest attempt, the monitor info was lost as well as a couple months of history. Disappointing the progress is losses but thankfully it’s in the health appSo convenient
Great product. Easy to load and use.
Can you add a note feature please? ie ‘after walk’ ‘no coffee day’ ‘after work’ etcAwesome app
This has been such an easy way to show my doc how my blood pressure has been over a few weeks. Just took some screen shots of the readings and sent them to my doc. It’s easy to use and has a great UI.Great Product
This is a great product - I’m changing my diet and lifestyle, so having quick and mobile access to my heart rate is an excellent insight to how, where, and when my heart is under stress.
HEY DEVS - I would love a way to note each reading, or label them, or group them, etc. For example, I workout, sleep, and go to the office at random times - so if I could add a label or note to each reading, then I could group them and see correlations.
[update] - Found the feature! It has notes! Swipe left on the historical entry and an entry can be noted or deleted.Show lessWorks great
I decided to keep track of my blood pressure because when I’ve gone to the eye doctor and they check it, it’s been high even though I felt it wasn’t a true reading due to having a 90 minute drive there after a pot of coffee. And I was correct. My readings are in the optimal range when taken early morning and late evening when I’m not stressed. This thing is easy to use and paired with the app on my iPhone. Glad I bought it.Show less
