Gives incorrect warning when outside of hours

When trying to pay for a spot before 8 am (I forgot meters didn’t start till then) it was saying “could not retrieve location”. This error should change to say that it is outside of booking hours so that users better understand why it isn’t working, rather then sending them on a wild goose chase until they realize it’s the wrong time.

Says no location available and won’t let me continue

I wish I could just enter the parking space number, but the app won’t let me continue. Despite precise location and allow while using app properly enabled in system settings, app says no location available and won’t let me start a session. Has not worked once in the past 2 years for me.

Convenient app for parking in Ann Arbor

I've been using the epark app for a couple years now and it's a super convenient way to park, pay and be on your way. For me, the app is really intuitive and easy to use.

The only thing I think is missing is clear messaging on when parking is free/not enforced. The message I got was something akin to 'Not Available' at this time and I was confused what that meant until someone walked by and told me the parking hours (which weren't posted on the street either). Adding the parking hours for clarity would make this a five-star app for me!

Horrible - always have to reload the app

Invariably this thing freezes up, and you have to delete the app and reinstall it over and over again one would think that this would’ve been taken care of quite a while ago

App doesn’t work last 6+ mo’s

There are sections of Ann Arbor where this App doesn’t work at all, like the area one street behind The Chop House. It’s been at least 6 mo’s maybe 9-12 mo’s. I called customer service in early Jan’23 and a nice woman called me back to understand the issues I’ve been experiencing. She said her programmers would call me back and so far they haven’t. Not a big deal but I’m writing this review so maybe the programmers are reminded to call me so I can help them resolve their tech glitchies. Using a CC or putting coins into the street parking meter is so 2005 lol.

Location Not Available

This app is utterly useless. When I try to start a new session, it says location not available (even when I have allowed it) and it does not allow me to manually enter the space. Ann Arbor needs to find an alternative to this garbage.

It doesn’t work.

That’s it. It simply doesn’t work. When starting a new session it says “Location not available” although there’s a perfectly good connection. Tried this on multiple devices and have the same exact issue. Without the location, you can’t pay for parking.

It’s honestly embarrassing that the city has such a useless app. The developers should be ashamed for not having addressed this problem after 2 years.

App didn’t work

App didn’t work. Stood there for a good 10 minutes trying to get payment added and the app just kept taking me in circles. I love other parking apps because of the convenience and peace of mind of knowing you can just add more money if you want to stay parked longer but his one was not compatible with any external payment systems, forced manual entry of credit card info, and besides that it was useless and broken.

Trash

Literally, it’s a useless app. I park in parking garages now. It worked like once or twice when I first moved here. Now it cannot find location despite having full access. I deleted and re-installed, issue persists. In Chicago your car will be hit or carjacked, but at least I could always count on the parking app!

Location

Literally deleted the app 3 times, turned my phone off and on. When clicking “new session” it said location cannot be found, even tho I’ve selected “allow location while using/allow once”

Not sure why you make an app for people to pay to park if it doesn’t even work. This wasn’t the first time it’s happened nor am the only one amongst my friends for it to happen to. Absolute poor quality app.
