Very good but…
This app is definitely excellent 👌🏽.
But, my only criticism to get out the way, is that the team presenters keep speaking about this video that someone did about a golden deamon victory ✌🏻. I have spent around 2 hours looking for this on every video bit but have not found it. Also I think 💭 that they should do more videos more often. Otherwise I really suggest this app to any warhammer gamer out there who does not have it.Show lessNeed improved data management
This is a promising app. It’s very handy for keeping track of the vast amounts of paints and multiple armies.
I’ve not explored the tutorials yet, but that looks useful too.
I’d like to see better management of use data so that I can be assured my data won’t disappear, as it has done once already. This would include: syncing across devices, being available as a web app for desktop, export/backup app data, export lists of paints (this feature seems to be in the UI but doesn’t do anything).Show lessKinda trash
What’s the point of creating an account if my inventory isn’t synced between devices? I painstakingly inventoried my collection of paints on my iPad, only to arrive at the Warhammer store and not have it synced to my phone? Guys, it’s 2024. What a joke.Needs a few features
App has a lot of potential but is missing a few key features to really shine and help miniature painters and wargamers thrive in their hobbies.
Missing:
-Sync between devices using same Warhammer.com account
-Ability to export current paints list (as backup because of previous point)
-Landscape mode on iPad
-360 views of models within the app (as available on Warhammer.com)Show lessApothecary
Add the legion apothecary and techmarine and MKIII and MKIV assault squadsUseless
You can’t search by a specific paint, and the suggested recipes based off it, and then they ruined there website, so its just terrible.
Checked the older versions of the app, and 3.15 was much better, and actually is useful. No Contrast?!
What the heck Citadel! I went and bought all of the paints for contrast painting per this app and now it’s been removed? What a slimebag move.Contrast Paint gone
Lost all colour guides for contrast paint in the last update.
Also they need the ability to zoom in on the photos to pick up on detail and better see the colours.Good but missing contrast paints is a dealbreaker
The app is good and very helpful for a beginner like me. The option to add all paints for a project in the wish list speed up greatly the process of going bankrupt.
It is nice to see each colour application and the steps from beginning to parade ready, specially when I’m using it in my iPad while working on a mini.
BUT, and this is a big bummer is the lack of contrast paints. Despite being a beginner I already got into contrast method and bought a lot of them for the leviathan box, but missing them here makes the app quite useless for me besides being a paint list manager.Show lessLost contrast scheme
