  • Nice app and great to track your paints

Great to now have a way to check how to paint your figurines and track your paints. Hope we'll be able to get access to more tutorials and warhammer TV guides on how to paint figurines soon!
  • Great app, couple of missing paints

Citadel Paint app is great for keep track of all the paint I have & still need...... sorry but did notice an issue you have missed a few from the list could not find
    Base - Thousand Sons Blue
    Layer - Ahriman Blue
Opps time to update your app, sorry guys day 1 someone had to notice. LOL
Other than this minor issue a great app would like to see an option to email you wishlist to someone (this would be great to give out some gift ideas & probably would take much to add the feature). Maybe next update?

  • Good start, inventory is great.

This app is a great start for a painting app. I can't wait to see what they do with it, assuming that they keep developing it.
The video content, although a little sparse considering how much they've released on iTunes is very helpful. Wish they'd flesh that out even more.

Some features that would be totally key that are missing now:

-current project tracker: some method of taking the colors that you are working with and making lists showing the colors in your inventory and possibly making suggestions based on related colors.

-more diversity in example imagery. Too many space marine backpacks showing every scheme and paint job.

-scheme tester: what about something that shows a black infantry model from your faction and then allows you to visualize your intended scheme, then you can have it cross reference with you inventory db and boom!

    Alright enough wishlisting.

  • Does what says on tin

Takes you through the techniques, details some of the standard paint schemes and more importantly works well on my aged ipad2.
Would like to see a couple more things though; the list of standard paint schemes is rather small and could do with bulking out and the inventory has only "got" and "want" options.
If you are starting an army from scratch you'll want to know how many of each paint you have at home, or better yet, how many you are going to likely need.
Overall pretty good though. I'm more impressed it works on 6 year old tech :-)

  • Like having Duncan in your pocket

I love this app. As someone that paints all the time looking up paint layer schemes takes too much of what little painting time I have. This speeds up the process greatly. Even better is the inventory. You can keep track of which paints you own and which you put on your wishlist. Never will I wonder if I already have a color when I decide to pick a few up! Awesome work Games Workshop. You guys really delivered. I would have gladly paid $5-10 for this and it's free! This can't be beat for anyone that paint miniatures regularly!

  • Great App

This painting guide is great, however it is limited in the number of models available (I'm posting this the day it came out, I'm sure this will change). Really good for laying out what paints you'll need comparing a layering technique with a dry brushing one, definitely worth the download.
  • Valuable Resource for Painters

This is a valuable app and provides a wide-range of information. The interface is clean and well designed and well organized, and the information is easy to navigate. The color match option is surprisingly simple to use and can be helpful plus the inventory/wish list is a good feature, also well organized.

This could be a great for beginners and even painting veterans should find it a helpful reference.
