Forces you to connect your new camera to cloud
I don’t want my camera connected to some anonymous cloud server. The manual describes the process which doesn’t match the app. I will not connect a camera in my private residence to your cloud. Please fix this!Krabche

App lost PTZ functionality
When I first purchased the PWR-302, it had pan, tilt, and zoom functions. Now those features are missing from the app. What gives?HawnGuy
Newest version doesn’t remember active cams
Last version remembered which cameras have been selected and it was easy to select a camera and then swipe between them. This new version doesn’t remember anything so all cams have to be selected every time you open the app. Please fix it back to the way it was.Fishhead

Badge count does not reset to zero even if you delete all notifications. It no longer notifies me of a visitor on my phone, it used to though. The hardware is well made and I love the product, but please fix the app.zoeydute
Much worse than Ring and Skybell
It seems developers of this app never used it, since workflow for common use is complicated. There are many bugs and annoyances. Seriously, this app is waaay behind on usability comparing with ring and even skybell. For example, short list of things after few days of use.
- Getting motion alert and then trying to see it takes a lot of taps. First tap on ios alert , unlock screen then another notification screen tap then app opens and have to keep tapping go to the messages an tap again then in the event view tap again to play it back!!!
- Press of the doorbell event is not in the alerts/messages?
- 180 degree is nice but alert zone rectangles are way too rough on ios. Competitors are using polygons to actually draw a zone!
- Need more fine-grain alert zone setup on ios? Need windows for that with ie and activex. Hello, this is 2018 out there with html 5.
- going in playback of the motion alert, rotate phone horizontal to see it and then dead end! Can not go back nor close it. It stays horizontal with no control to go back or close. Have to close whole app and start it again. This player is different from the timeline player one in the same app which has more controls and works properly.
- Why app is offering 2,4,8 etc views when it is aware of how many cameras or devices connected??? This is useless. I understand it was coming from fully fledged multi-camera setup but where is the basic usability checks to make sure all things are intuitive?Show lessbit magic
Needs work
Current version has a bug where the alerts displayed on the apps icon bears no relation to the number of “messages” once you go into the app. Also, it would be extraordinarily handy to be able to have a custom alert sound for motion detection events and a “mute” option for a certain time if you are doing work around the doorbell or the kids are out playing in the area.Show lessJimA550i
Battery drain
I turned all the notifications off, rendering the camera useless - yet the battery drain is unreal. 4x the usage of the next app, and all of it from background. Uninstalled and planning to return the camera.SkizApps
Security Risk
For some reason this app activates Bluetooth which is entirely unnecessary and opens a phone connection. For all I know it’s scanning the environment for Bluetooth devices and sending the info someplace.
Additionally it needs to allow you to schedule when motion alerts can be triggered.
I have it set to lowest sensitivity and it is 30 feet or more from the street and every car that goes by triggers a motion alert.
I will start monitoring all the packets it sends to see if anything nefarious is happening or if it’s just sloppy programming.Show lessGhostGeekGuy
Solid core features
Like the app. Have notifications working which is great. Badge count does not reset to zero though (bug) and needs to be fixed. Overall does a good job.
Ability to enter playback in widescreen mode would be nice. It keeps rotating back to verticle so have to juggle my phone to force it back to wide screen.Show lessYea Mike 1234567890
