  • Doorbell

    Unfortunately, it didn’t even last a day I disconnected , it even at the maximum settings it wasn’t covering any more than 10 feet away , a disappointment the technician was excellent no issues with the installment or anything like that just at the doorbell wasn’t what I expected at all .

  • Lousy system

    Connectivity is bad, camera can’t adjust, slomin came and blamed router, how could this be when everything’s else work? They are coming again, we will see
  • Needs Major Bug Fixes

    I have tried everything to get my doorbells to work properly. They even have their own dedicated 2.4ghz network on a WiFi extender. I bought a wireless chime from napco which is the brand of doorbell they use. Now that works fine, most of the time I can see live video from the cameras.. but when someone rings the bell the live video won’t load and I can’t “ answer “ it from my phone to speak to the person. The video will just buffer and not load. Often the app will show one or both doorbells as offline but if I sign out and back in they are perfectly fine. All of this points to someone needed to go in an fix the bugs in this app. Clearly most other people are complaining of the same thing- why won’t anyone from Slomins correct the issue ?????

  • Security great, video doorbell not

    The security system itself is perfectly fine but the doorbells are another story. They keep dropping the WiFi and if not that they drop the chime so it won’t ring when pressed. The front doorbell was acting really crazy so I went to unscrew it from the mount and when I took the screw out a bunch of gray water came pouring out the hole from doorbell!!! It had only been there for 4 days and is covered by an awning. The video app freezes all the time and now that I see this happens to everyone I know it’s not just my network. I even put my netgear router up with the eero router since they blamed it on the smart router not picking the 2.4 network. Still not working right. I have service coming about the front one and if it doesn’t fix the issue, I’m getting ring for the doorbells instead and leaving the slomins security system.

  • Don’t bother

    It doesn’t pick up cars/people but will pick up the wind blowing & the videos are only about 4 seconds long. At a time I really needed the video footage of a car, it didn’t capture it… Get a Ring Camera. I’m going to get one.
  • Never works

    Horrible camera service. Wouldn’t recommend wasting the monthly fee for this service when there are others for way less that are better.
    Disappointed from a brand like Slomans. Especially when are known for security.
  • Missing Features

    We’re loving our service, our tech was amazing and very knowledgeable. Although, I appreciate the sensitivity of the camera, it alerts us way too often to keep the alerts on. Second, I’d love to see an option within the app where I can delete/archive videos in bulk versus having to delete individually. It’s very time consuming and a nuisance. I hope the developers are reading these reviews so the improvements can be made.

  • Ok app

    The app works OK, but it counts the shadows of rustling trees as movement and alerts me way too often to keep the alerts on. Also, I am not sure if you can view old footage in a faster speed, but it is tough to find what I am looking for in the archives will increase rating if watching archive footage in higher speeds is possible

    I cannot get connected to my camera in the back yard. It keeps kicking me off and now it’s saying user doesn’t exist.. Joke
