Worked for two days

Well it worked great for two days and hadn’t counted a step since. Still like the shoes tho.

Not your typical Alegrias

Wore these to Disney for my first visit. They do Not Offer the same support as typical Alegria shoes. I did break them in before going, but that didn’t help. The strings to not tighten enough to keep my heel planted in the shoe and the toe box is narrow so, I did get blisters. These are fine for a typical workday but not for heavy walking.

Poor tracking

Worked for about 6 weeks. The shoes are very comfy but I also bought them to record my steps. Stopped one day can’t get them to reconnect. Poor technology, maybe you need to go back to the drawing board on TRAQ.

Stopped Working at 50 K steps

I really love these shoes and the app worked perfectly until it didn’t. once my shoes hit about 50,000 steps the chip stopped working. I tried everything they suggested to get it working again even Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Now it won’t even find my shoes. Contacted their tech support two weeks ago and still getting the run around although I did sent photos of my shoes to them as they requested. It may be better to stick with shoes and FitBit

Not impressed!

I have several pairs of shoes. At first the app kept track of my steps and I loved it, it was accurate! I updated the app and now my shoes won’t connect to the app and I have contacted the company multiple times to ask for help and all I get was that they were looking into it, but no one contacted me with how to resolve this issue! I need a new pair but is it worth the hassle? I even asked if it could be the chip in the shoe. Not sure if anyone else is having issues with their shoes or app.

No customer service support

Impossible to reach a human. Zappos was great and sent me a second pair of these sneakers since the first ones stopped working, but even when the second ones failed to work I still couldn’t get support from TRAQ. No response to their website’s emails or voice mails to their number. Just form emails saying the same guidance over and over but they still don’t work. Very frustrating to have no customer support.

Hoped for more

I love Alegria shoes. I have quite a few pair.
Recently, I shopped for a pedometer, so I didn’t have to wear my Fitbit or mess with my phone. I always check the Alegria website for sales. I realized I could get comfy shoes AND keep track of steps. So, I bought two pair, instead of one. Neither were on sale.
First of all, they were downloaded to the app opposite of the correct shoe. When I have the purple shoes on, they are tracking on the gray shoe data. The gray shoes track on the purple shoe data.
They do not consistently count my steps. They worked on an elliptical and I was thrilled. But 20 minutes in, they stopped. Walking on the ground restarted the step count; then it was in and out for the elliptical again.
And my app does not have any shoes moving left to right at the top of the dashboard like the help page discusses. I’ve tried everything everyone here has tried. Intermittent counting at best.
I gave two stars because they are COMFORTABLE. Love that. But I specifically bought them for the pedometer. Now I’m back to square one. Going to stop using the TRAQ app. And I would recommend the brand; but certainly not this shoe technology. I had high hopes.

Crap company

After the last update this app would no longer count my steps or recognize either of my two pairs of shoes. Don’t waste your time. They won’t respond to my emails or calls after requesting a refund.

Love the update!

The new features and other updates to the app has made my traq shoes even more enjoyable to use. Getting into some friendly competition with my friends in the groups section has motivated me to increase my daily walking activity more than anything else!

Love this app!

I have so much fun with this app. Created my own group and added all my friends with TRAQ shoes. We’re constantly trying to out-step each other 😂💕
