That was easy
It was so easy to install! So far it works perfectly!eye don't have one
No App support for error messages
Lx1880 extender appears to be working. Problem is error message in DLink app of “Network Down”. Have no idea why and how to resolve. Searched internet and contacted D-Link support getting no answers or resolution .Chermax
Awful, faulty and useless
Title says it all really. The hardware config is all smoke and mirrors. I work as a developer of hardware drivers and I’ve got to say this app takes the cake for the most lazily, poorly designed and developed hardware configuration tool there is.
The process depends on a series of timers, which means the app is not at all interacting with the hardware during setup. It’s all click and hope. When you have a network issue, you will become extremely frustrated trying to set the system back up.
The app needs to be scrapped for a truly interactive, hardware integrated solution - this app is utter garbage and will leave you wondering if the hardware actually works.Show lessHamer C

I don’t know what the issue is but this router can not handle all my devices. all connected devices are working on and off I bought this router because it show performance and high speed and handling multiple devices however that is not the case from current performance.Jose'situnes
Considering switching to Netgear
The app is not maintained well, the UI looks really bad and needs to be updated. I didn’t buy a 500$ router for a company that can’t update a app at least once a month or so to fix bugs that doesn't let you even get into the app! Honestly considering switching to Netgear because their products and apps are more refined with more features and better looking website and apps and they update there apps and devices regularly.Show lessTEE-HEE43
Useless!!
Setup is surprisingly complicated, device has to be next to the Wi-Fi router, which defeats the point of requiring a booster! If you need to come away from setup for some reason, the device won’t allow you to join network. Still attempting to set it up 1 hour later, good luck!Just let me have my nickname
Very buggy
App is quite slow when navigating and on multiple times has made me re-give permissions. Clicking the ‘wizard’ button in setting completely resets the system. My biggest problem is that there is no Indiction of strength of signal between each node to decide on optimum placement. Finally, it would be great to see what devices are connected to each node.Show lessMowbray12345
The most useless thing I ever bought
This device doesn’t work at all. Spent 2 hours trying to connecting it to my main router. It failed every time. NON FUNZIONApietrobologna99
Setup is very bad
Setup process us anything but quick. Setup steps are incorrect, and prompts make incorrect assumptions. If you use the Dlink app it does not know the device status but pretends it does. Looks and feels like something developed by dummies for dummies.
Same experience with tplink and wavlink.
I do not want to deal with any of these companies support staff.
If you claim the device is quick and easy to setup then test it properly, Setup time is 3 hours because of all the mucking about and guessing you will be doing.
Also wifi is setup with weak security by default.
These devices and not cheap but it looks and feels like it.
To top it off the App wants access to everything, like we trust then. I see the quality of the device software, security and setup and am I supposed to believe Dlink will use appropriately or even need all of it.Show lessNot impressed 007
