Personally I didn’t understand the app and I understand most apps!
It took me around and around in circles then told me that I was able to connect to the wifi and then proceeded to tell me I had to give access to the D-Link while it had access even via the setting app??
I’ve been at this for about an hour…Show lesslily taplin

I bought two D-Link X1560 access points to run as simple access points.
This app refuses to do anything at all without internet access via the WAN port. It just hangs forever.
So I configured them both manually and simply via the web interface. Give them an IP address, connect them to my switch via ethernet and set up the wifi.
Second massive flaw with the app, as if the first wasn’t enough- it doesn’t sense more than one on a network. Or rather it might, but it just hangs at the first one.
Third massive flaw, after trying and failing to access the first device on your network, subsequent launches of the app try to access that device at launch, so the app can no longer - ever - be used again because it hangs up forever.
Worse than useless, because it has wasted my time.Show lessredpola

The app freezes often when I’m using it, and it only successfully connects to my DAP-1610 about half the time… the other times it gives me a false error about not having location permissions (which it has, but shouldn’t even need in my opinion) or an error about being out of range (which I’m not, since I’m literally connected to the thing while sitting on my sofa).Show less_soda

Needs a better user face
The app is flaky. Have to close and open app sometimes to get wifi device. The app interface looks like something out of 90s. For managing internet access I can’t tell whether the the blue is online time or offline time as there is no colour keys.fjn ripper

App has a few errors where i cannot access or change. Has been like this for a while even when i updated to latest version.Damean ikitule
