But I’ve had for months and they STILL haven’t added the spoken audio to the NHK Easy News yet...This app is absolutely the best of its kind, but its main competitors all have spoken audio for the NHK Easy News. That spoken audio is incredibly valuable for pronunciation practice and study and I cannot give this app 5 stars until it rectifies that

Great resource for practicing reading Japanese!
Love this app
Im trying to use everyday! It has a more advanced selection than other apps like it. The customer support is nice and attentive. Only thing that could make the app better is native readers. So that you can listen to all your book marks while driving. It will help with listening comprehension ( my worst skill) and tone while speaking. Other apps have this but not for advanced material. Even if they were slow at implementing this, I would pay for it.

Helpful Practice Tool
My biggest wish would be to incorporate a dark theme in the main menu. I do most of my reading at night, and the white screen is annoying.
I haven't looked at every site yet, but I appreciate how many are included. The range of difficulties seems nice as well. I haven't done much searching for it yet, but it would be nice to be able to add our own sites and blogs... Maybe that's already possible, and I need to actually find out how.

Love the variety and lookup
Mana I is an interface to several Japanese websites with various styles of reading. The two things I like best are the variety of readings, both level and topic and the integrated dictionary. The only thing I noticed that I’m not so sure about is that when you go to NHK Easy, it has pictures (and sound) that are missing when you go through Manabi.

Server issues
I would give this five stars as it’s a great learning resource and easy to look up readings and meanings as you go. Big issue is it is not connecting to the flash cards app often. Also the NHK news easy and others often not connect. Too many network errors.
Pretty Good
Really like the app overall. Three things I recommend are: adding support for 名乗り, allowing words in the title to be checked, and increasing news channels (possible NHK). Keep it up!
