  • Missing feature list

Need to add 30 day pass option to app.

Need to add parking space payment option to App.

Need train schedule embedded on APP itself. Current schedule viewing option is just a link to Smart Website for viewing. Problematic if your in a an area with poor cell data reception.
  • Doesn't Work

    Lousy app. Resetting account constantly.
  • Very Basic - just directs you to the website

This app is extremely basic, and not very useful if you’re trying to use it for scheduling and connections.

When you click the link to schedules, it takes you to their website. The schedule on the website is not smart device friendly, so it’s very difficult to navigate, especially if you’re trying to get a connection.

Very limited scheduling for ridership, but that’s a different topic.
  • Need to add parking payment option

Great App. -1 star because we cannot pay for Smart parking spaces with the App.
  • Facepalm

I just got a job down south and was excited that I could just take the train down. I’ve been trying to look at the Smart Train website for fairs and schedules on my phone, but the website doesn’t work well on phones. You can’t see a lot of the info unless you hold the phone horizontally and then when you do that it squashes your field of view. When I saw there was an app I was again excited. Downloaded the app and looked for a schedule section. Saw “Trip Planning” and tapped it. “Smart Train schedule” *tap*. Loads up the $h@t website. “F¥€&!”
  • Easier than the kiosk

The app is much easier to buy tix for a family because you can buy them all at once.
  • Unbelievable

Between erroneous signage at the ferry building & no one to ask for help, good luck trying to figure out what tix you need for taking a ferry & smart train.
  • No schedules and login is inconvenient

There is no schedule in the app! it opens a pdf in Safari. However if you just need a schedule, check out the “Wye Train Schedules for SMART” app which has them.

Nice that it supports Apple Pay for tickets, but you shouldn’t need to log in / create an account to buy them.
  • Could Be Much Better....

This is a very BASIC app to purchase e-tickets for SMART. It gets the job done if you don't have or want to use a Clipper Card for paying your fare.

To improve on things, it should include an actual schedule for their service, information on parking availability, passenger pick-up/drop-off, and notifications when the train is running late or there is an expected delay in service. Adding Pay-Pal as an option instead of entering credit card information, and the ability to link to social media like Facebook for easy log-in are a must.
