  • My favorite workout app

I recently came across Tom Brady‘s book and went to the bookstore and sat down and read the first chapter. It made so much sense to me… Here’s a guy that is 41 years old and is rarely hurt… His constant striving to be longer the muscles to keep them pliable clicked with me. I decided to download the app and give it a shot for one month. I just hit three months strong with the app. At the one-month mark I did not even check in with myself because I was so into the TB12 workouts. You can select what type of athlete you are in it will design workouts for you. When I first started I did overall athlete but then once the ski season began I switched it to skier. If I don’t do these workouts three times a week then my core and body does not feel as strong. I have suffered with low back pain for the past two years and this is the absolute best I’ve felt. What are you especially like about it is that they are not simply telling you some exercises to do, but rather most of the exercises I have never seen before in my life and they look pretty easy but they are so challenging to the core. I think the app does a one week free trial so if you were on the fence commit to doing it three times in the first week and then you can always cancel if you don’t like it.

  • Is this really what Tom Brady does?

This app is ok. Not what I would imagine an elite athlete nor one to the playing caliber of the ‘greatest of all time’ would use. I suspect this is geared towards the average joe. Nike Training Club (Apple App Store) or Core Performance is much more challenging and similar.
  • This app turned me to a Tom Brady like god

After just looking at this app I became 6,4 225 pound man I can run 40 yards in 5.28 seconds!!!(the fastest possible time btw) my vertical is 24.5 inches(the highest a person has ever gotten off the ground) don’t let me get started on my impressive shuttle time
  • Military

It would be pretty awesome if you guys did A military workout on here
  • Still Checking It Out

As an Ironman Triathlete I’m happy to see the three phases of the sport in this app. However, a triathlete specific selection would be better than selecting swimming, biking or running individually. I’m staying tuned and haven’t gotten too far in to the app. Looks good.
  • Stick with it

At first I was not to impressed with the free version of the app but the more I use it the more I like it.
I have incorporated some of the exercise into my kettlebell workout and have seen real results.

New workouts and information every week. So stick with it.
  • Deletes progress

This app is way below par. You might expect that all the marketing dollars, and the premium prices for all the associated components, would come along with a really seamless, well researched app - that’s not the case. For one, the tutorials for the exercises and the interaction required is clunky. I think TB12 could have learned so much from other workout apps doing it right - like Results for example. Second, even after you get through the workout it doesn’t save your progress - which is a glitch I brought to the attention of the support staff and which they acknowledged but said I needed to update the app - but it didn’t fix the problem. They didn’t offer any other solutions and took two weeks to reply to my initial message. Very disappointing app and products - wait for them to work out the glitches.

  • It’s a giant advertisement app

I wouldn’t say this app is really focused on performance. It’s got Tom Brady’s branding which helps give the sense of credibility. But once you open the app, first things you see are 1) buy all these equipment products 2) buy all these meal plans 3) buy all these supplements. You don’t need all these products and plan to become a “peak” athlete. A hard work attitude and a simple budget can get you there just as well. Just because of Brady’s image doesn’t mean this plan is superior than others.

  • Finally

This app is finally something that creates a specific workout to me! I play hockey and the workouts so far have been spot on for hockey movements. My professional background is in athletic training and the info in the app has seriously taught me some things to use in my own practice. Well done!!
