It’s gone downhill

Used to really like the app although I didn’t have a ton of time for it. Now it seems they’ve gotten rid of the realtime beard preview feature which in my opinion was the best part. I actually called support to make sure it wasn’t that I just couldn’t find it and not only was the representative very hard to understand, but they told me they were going to put me on hold and then hung up on me.

Bon mais il y a un bug

9 fois sur 10 le rapport du rasage n’apparaît pas. Le programme tourne et tourne sans afficher les résultats.

Helpful companion app

Thought this might have been a bit unnecessary but have liked the ability to track, be warned I’m not shaving as well as I should and get hints

Correct Motion

Correct motion took me some time to master. A linear motion was initially more my style. But with daily practice, in no hurry, I was able to adapt to the circular motion Norelco recommends. However, I don’t feel that a got a noticeably better shave. But I’ll give it time.

A guide only

This is fine if you remember it’s only a guide. Every face is different so it can only be so accurate in measuring proper pressure etc. still gives you a good idea on how you shave.

Works as advertised

The app is user-friendly and efficiently tracks cleanings and battery status. However, the shave tracking feature could be enhanced. I've noticed that while performing the same shaving motion, the app initially records the efficiency as below 50% and then suddenly increases to about 100% after roughly 5 to 10 seconds of use, ultimately settling at 80% efficiency. I believe this could potentially reach 90%. And the competitor in me wants the points that are mine 🙃.

Superior shave

Have had many electric razors in my 58 years of living and I can confidently say that this razor / groomer is by far the best I’ve ever used . shave time , my shave times are so short now because this razor gets it on the first pass . This is the John Deere of razors in my humble opinion. You can buy any electric razor but in the end, you’ll end up paying the 100$ I paid for this one. Guaranteed.

Disconnecting regularly.

Although Philips have replaced the shaver and I have redownloaded the app several times it still disconnects itself thus loosing all the data. When I do manage to connect it sometimes it will start but not show the duration of my shave. When it does connect it will show as connected on the app and in settings but still doesn’t work. The previous version of the app worked ok this has only started happening on this new update. Disappointed
