  • Love the new version of the app

    This version of the app is good in so many ways the real time shaving part is so much better and gives you more advice on how to shave correctly love the needle marker to keep you doing it write it’s good for the cleaning part as well 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  • Electric razor

  • It’s ok if slightly puzzling

    Thanks to Philips technical support I was able to add my series 8000 shaver to the app and pair it. The app might be clearer and explain that Bluetooth pairing cannot be done until after the shaver has been added. Anyway, I let the app guide me through my shave this morning. I’m clearly not moving the shaving head in small enough circles though even when I tried to do this the app kept telling me off for not doing so. I ended up with a miserable 18% correct score. The information about remaining battery life and the number of shaves it will give me is useful. The cleaning pod support seems a bit superfluous as the pod manages the cleaning time by itself anyway. Overall it’s an ok app from my experience so far though hardly essential.

  • It is working perfectly

    It is everything you want in a shaver wet or dry

    Easy to clean and I really like the app it shows me that I am getting better at it and I am looking forward for a lot of great years
  • App Fails to Connect With Razor

    Half the time the App does not connect to razor, even when the phone shows razor is connected to Bluetooth. Becomes a waste of time trying to connect.
    The 7885 razor is excellent with very close shave.
  • Great App, but Bluetooth issue needs improvement

    The information the App provides is very useful and nicely designed, but fails to update remaining shaves/battery level/usage information unless closing down the App by holding bottom of screen & scrolling up then reopening. I note the App does not facilitate background App refresh - maybe this could help & be looked into by the developer. On the whole, not bad.

  • Phillips shaver series 9982

    The best Phillips I have ever owned. I’ve been shaved with Phillips for 60 years but always owned mid-range like 5 or 7000 series. After 3 lousy years of having changed it up to Braun 7000 I have come back to Phillips with top tier 9982 and shave is clean closest and smoothest ever. The pressure and movement sensors are great too. I never realized that I had been regularly shaving over 3 minutes each shave and that I was pressing with wrong pressure. So far I’m doing well in pressure category but poor in movement/rotation. Cleaning pod is great too. I’m using it every 4 th shave and washing under the tap the other times.

  • Bluetooth

    App worked fine for a while, but now unable to connect razor. I have tried re installing the app and re registering, this worked fine for first shave and now not connecting again. My operating system is up to date. I have turned Bluetooth on and off, no success. I have tried to re pair and Bluetooth won’t find shaver now. App uninstalled now!!!

  • New Version is a step backwards

    The old version was fantastic. Open app, start shaver and the app would immediately open guided shave. When finished, just put it in the cleaner and the app would immediately open the cleaning section showing how many cleans were left.

    The new version? Nothing is automatic. You have to press icons and go through pop ups. Both for a guided shave and the cleaning section. Frustrating and not worth using the app now. The person that signed off on the changes does not shave or use the app.

    Please fix it.
