  • Bluetooth issues

    I was bought shaver as a present for Christmas. I downloaded your shaving app, and it worked great, Until, the app was updated. It now keeps loosing the Bluetooth connection. Frustrating as I enjoyed using it. I have an iPhone. I have tried deleting it and installing again, to no avail.
    I have deleted and reinstalled the Philips shaving app, and re-entered the shaver model I have, and that seems to have cured the issue. The app is now connecting to my shaver .

  • Cannot login to my account!!!

    Since the last update when I tried to login using my global Philips account (I had all shaving records on it) it keeps directing me to Chinese domain of Philips cause my iPhone is logged into a Chinese Apple account. There’s no point I log out of my whole Apple account just for this app. Please fix it or I can only login to a Chinese account with no past shaving data available to me any more!

  • Great App

    This is a great App but unfortunately just upgraded my Phone to an IPhone 15 and it doesn’t connect anymore!!

  • Much improved

    The new design for 2024 is much improved. Previously it was hard to find what you were looking for. Now everything is right where I would expect it to be. Give the people responsible for the UI/UX design a raise.

  • App refuses to remember settings

    Just bought 8000 series shaver which gives a nice shave however the app is abysmal. Although it says it is connected to the shaver it flatly refuses to save any of the settings. It quite happily tells me the amount of time I have been shaving and tells me that I have 100% not used the razor correctly and taken too long to shave. Nothing I do seems to change anything.

  • Best shaver I’ve ever owned

    I am a 70 year old man, and I’ve owned a lot of razors over the years and many different brands, but this is the best razor I have ever owned. Very smooth, cuts, really close, and doesn’t break out your skin. I love it, and would highly recommend it.

  • Inexplicably requires online account

    Once you’ve used the app for a bit, it says you cannot do anything until you’ve signed up to an online Phillips account. The explanation given is that “we cannot save your data” — and yet clearly the data could just be saved on my phone or even in iCloud. The app uses Bluetooth to connect to the shaver so the data has to go through the phone anyway.

    Naturally, the company is after data to improve their products and marketing. That’s fine, and they might even offer an opt-out setting. But it seems truly bizarre to force you to sign up for an account you do not want or need.

  • Self Grooming’s so easy

    I love how it tells me I’m not pressing hard enough, not too hard or using the correct pressure. Also great how it tells me to use smaller circles etc..
    it helps ensure I’m using my shaver to the best of it’s capabilities

    Got my Series 9000 delivered today. Still can’t get my IPhone 13 paired & shaver paired. Running IOS 17.1.1 Followed all the steps twice and nada.

    As of yesterday I called Philips # in the small manual. A young lady in NY spent 30+ minutes with me. Eventually, I got my iPhone paired with the shaver app. My suggestion is you have another group re-write the instructions. First organize the steps, as currently the various steps are poorly prioritized. I do like the 9000 series I purchased but I spent way to much time on less than well written guide steps. Bob Morris
