  • Total joke

    Are you kidding me with this app??? I’m using an iPhone 13 pro and so far the camera is completely cocked at the wrong angle so I cannot see myself while holding the phone any which way. Half of the screens within the app aren’t formatted properly so it’s like looking at a desktop version of a website in your phone. Please do better Philips, I just blew $249 on you dang shaver the least you can do is have a functional app!!!!!

  • Morello grooming app

    Didn’t give too much thought about using the app, glad that I did.
    Was shaving incorrectly for years and didn’t know it.
    Recommend it highly, it works!

  • Can’t even Register Shaver

    App is awful, can’t find my shaver after repeated attempts at registration. Bluetooth is connected but still unable to register shaver. ☹️

  • Useless

    Well I managed 1 shave and now won’t stay connected for more than 10 seconds, this is probably the worst smart app I’ve ever encountered. The shaver itself is very good but I am very disappointed that Philips can’t seem to get their act together with regards to app development I have the same issues with other Philips apps

Regarding the connection issue you're facing: please update the app to the latest version and try the following: press and hold the shaver power button for 10-12 seconds --> in the phone Settings - General - Bluetooth - Select the shaver device and press "forget device". --> Completely close and restart the app, then try to pair again.   • Useless if you are visually impaired

    I am legally blind and use a screen reader. Some of the controls on this app aren’t even labeled. I was able to pair the shaver, but my model isn’t even listed so that was a dead end, too. The page with the Videos is also useless, as it keeps popping the screen reader up to the top of the page. I couldn’t access any of the videos. I realize this only affects a small percentage of your user base but it’s very disappointing.

  • Update ::Bluetooth issues

    Happy with the shaver but the app keeps losing Bluetooth connection and de registering the shaver. Every time you try using guided shave you have to go through the ritual of forgetting Bluetooth device - switch off Bluetooth - uninstall app- switch off phone- restart phone - reinstall app. Re pair shaver to Bluetooth.

    After a recent IOS update the issue seems to have resolved itself so far the shaver has reconnected to Bluetooth and the app by itself

  • After a decade with Panasonic

    After using Panasonic for over 10 years, this SkinIQ 9000 feels flimsy, and the app is very shallow. Same price.

    Bluetooth, what for? If they’d spent $2 making the cleaning stand into a charging dock that would help too. Plugging in/out after each session is fiddle.

    First shave feels pretty good, but I doubt it will last a decade.
    The shave motor feels ‘weak’, and the cleaning stand is prone to tipping over without any help.

    Not a great first impression.
