Warning signs (update: useless)
First, this crashes immediately. It’s unusable. Broke with some iOS update, not sure which one. I’m on 14 with an XS Max. Older review follows:
Confirmed what another reviewer said: they can’t handle the characters in my password.
From emailing my initial password in plaintext, the local integration supporting only 6 char passwords, to the mobile API being unable to support + or ! (not sure which), these are ugly warning signs of security incompetence.
These guys are connecting my home security through their servers. Beware.Show less_thekev
Overdue for Overhaul
For anyone with a compatible alarm, the EVL4-EZR module that this app controls is a very useful device - highly recommend. The app however is long overdue for an upgrade.
My wish list:
1) Facial recognition
2) Not having to walk through multiple menus to turn alarm on or off
3) Shorter initial startup - watching the EyezON logo gets old fast.
4) Better alarm status menu. The red zone indicators are very useful and quick but hard to remember what zone is what.
5) Widget - this should have a quick widget for the iPhone control menuShow lessSailAwayIntoSunset

Click on the app, it starts to open then goes away. No more alerts. Used to be a great appFrits1776
Works great
I’ve been using this app with my Honeywell Vista system with the Connect2Go v4 interface. Right now I can see that my vacation home is alarmed, and I’ll get an alert if someone goes in or if the sump pump fails or anything else happens that my alarm system can pick up.
Funny, I was going to ditch my old alarm system, but I’m extraordinarily happy I kept it because it is very comprehensive, reliable, and maintenance and administration-free 🙂
Yeah, the UI isn’t so pretty, but it’s the functionality that’s the tops. Oh, and works great in my iPhone 11 under iOS 14.xShow lessLance J.
