  • Management at your fingertips

    Just started getting into owning some properties and managing some properties for my clients. While listening to a BiggerPockets radio broadcast I came across the episode with Rentredi and immediately fell in love with the idea and concept. Understandably there’s gonna be some bugs some fixes but if you manage this and communicate with their support staff, you shouldn’t have an issue moving forward.

  • Need more process improvements

    Landlord - week 1 of using the app.

    User experience needs to be a bit better.

    Have 1 property on this app, want to add 4 more, but the workflow needs to be better represented in the dashboard.

    Listing and bank setup > application > screening > lease > payment > maintainence.

    The screens are all there, but the experience need to be tightened. It’s a good app at a reasonable price, just need some more development to reduce the clicks.

    For example - the dashboard shows zero notifications that the renter has paid their deposit. The email has come through, but the dashboard doesn’t show it. If I click through the email, I am able to get to the screen, but not from the main dashboard intuitively.

    Overall happy, yet to see the finance integration as I have not received monies through the app yet - but hopeful that it will be good. Will post followups.

  • Avoid avoid avoid DONT DO IT!

    Just filter and look at all the other 1 star reviews. Everything these reviews are saying is absolutely true this app is horrible and far from user friendly. Continuously having issues and glitches to the point I didn’t trust receiving payment on there platform. The Customer service is a complete joke. They take days to get back to you and your issue will never be resolved. Wasted my money on this app because of course I can’t get a refund. I’m currently trying out tenant cloud and it’s a night and day difference! Much better platform! Good luck fellow landlords!

  • Avoid at all cost

    I am extremely disappointed with RentRedi for denying me access to my data without a subscription. As a customer, I believe I should have the right to my data without any additional charges. Customer service initially promised me to a month of complementary subscription so that I can download my data. But later they denied me. All I want is access to my own information, and it seems like they're concerned with making a profit than providing good customer service.

  • Horrible to use , not friendly AT ALL

    I tried for several weeks to get my account up and running for my tenants . Nothing was easy to set up, the “help “ I got from their assistants made things worse and harder to correct . I used this for 3 weeks before my tenants begged me to drop it . This company stole my 90.00 dollars , they won’t respond to my request for a refund .. BEWARE !!!!

  • WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

    I would give it - star rating if that was an option
    Took me almost a week to set up(working on it off/on)
    NOT user friendly
    You add a property
    Then have to go back threw each one and
    Add charges!
    Then back threw to add your safety deposits
    Then your leases
    Etc.

    Reach out to live chat team from 10-3-22
    Threw 12-1-22
    Between that time frame i received $0 from my properties. Reason being, my bank account number was wrong.
    They sent my $ to the bank with the wrong numbers each time it was rejected was a charge to me.
    Rentredi said propay charged me
    Propay said rentredi charged me
    They sent payments not once not twice BUT 17 times to the wrong bank account. So i have 17 fee's
    Yes my fault on wrong bank account number but it also didnt take me all the way threw the bank account set up or mistake would have been caught!!
    Disputed this for a week with them.
    Set up an appointment to talk on phone. No one called the time of my appointment
    Called there number over 10 times leaving Vmail each time. Not 1 return call!

    They shorted me $110 and they wont give it back. Lesson learned!

  • Customer service

    Almost impossible to get someone on the phone. Beside the basic needs chats support offers little no assistance. All I’m asking for is the basic customer service needs.
  • Payment Gateway Headache & Lost Money

    I work in Fintech and understand how payment processing works. One of my tenants checks bounced and reached out to pay via cash app, I agreed and put their payment in manually. Come to find out, RentRedi drafted from my business account and is holding those funds until the tenant pays through RentRedi again. I can’t ask my tenant to pay rent again through the app after she paid me using another platform. The only solution apparently is for her to make another payment to release the funds back to my bank. On top of that, RentRedi already charged the tenant all these fees for the bad check, deposits, etc, so again confused why I have to pay a fee on top of their fees. When I asked about manual payments with customer service at the beginning, I was given a generic how to guide on how to add an outside payment. Nothing was discussed on how i wouldn’t receive all my funds. Now it seems I’m out $800 +\-. The only thing good about this company is their customer service, however the UI and payment processing is horrible. Will be switching apps once their lease is up.

  • Do NOT trust them

    I tried RentRedi as a property manager of six properties. My first vacant property, I put in the data, got the application sent out, and the potential tenant spent $35.00 to apply. The next day, I logged in and the reports said “Check back in 10 Minutes.” The next day, same thing. I spent the next SIX DAYS on the customer service/tech support chat. Every day was the same answer. “Our tech team is getting back to us ASAP.” I finally demanded a refund. They said “no please give us more time they’re sending me the correction right now!” Of course, that never was completed. I cancelled. This company is NOT trust worthy. Imagine the same problems with rent collection?! I would NOT recommend.

  • Avoid at all cost

    I initially want to try rentredi out since there are so many people promoting it on biggerpockets.

    But when I found out it is not for me a few days later. there is no trial period and they will not refund you at all. And i sure cancelled it on the account.

    Fast forward to today, I got charged again for annual subscription. These people are not honest people. And while I do see app has growth potential, but I will never use it because these people just want to charge you even after you tel them you don’t want to use their app.

    Don’t ever try to use them, plenty good apps out there. Innago is way better than rentredi.
