  • Well drawn art and fun voice acting; boring gameplay

The game offers a great presentation with all drawn art for the characters and the not too serious voice acting. It was worth the initial play through.

The game itself, however, does not require much thinking. All classes have only a couple of actual moves: some poison type of move which damages enemies after the turn, a piercing move that goes through shields, and armor. While balancing action points requires some skill it almost feels like it doesn't matter which cards you actually play. Mana builds are even easier and most classes will give you cards that just give you heaps of mana after the first chapter.

The DLC however offers significantly challenging bosses. So much so many are literally impossible to beat because your cards just cannot defeat them. It's tough to build for bosses too since different runs have different bosses. That's where the not much thinking problem comes in. You can o ly defeat some bosses after trying repeatedly because the cards get dealt a certain way. This is NOT the case with other mobile games where often your build can defeat the enemy with ingenuity and patience.

Overall, the game was worth the money and the initial 10 hours or so. I would hold off on the DLC though.

  • Bought all DLC, then it kicked me out

I was really enjoying this game, so I decided to buy all the classes you can play. The next day I get an error message in Chinese, and after some digging on Reddit I found out that it is requiring a Chinese social security number and real name. Being a US citizen, I don’t have those, so I’m just locked out of the game. I couldn’t find any solutions online. Really annoyed because I JUST paid for the extra content and now I am not able to play anymore. Please get rid of this requirement if you’re going to advertise this as an international game! 😓

  • Bugs

First I wanna say that this is my favorite mobile game ever. I loved it so much I bought their most expensive collectors dlc on my iPhone eight. At the time I signed in with Facebook. When I switched to a new iPhone 11 none of my purchase history could be recovered, despite signing in with the same Facebook account as before. I looked past that and decided to keep playing. I finished everything available in the base game, then deleted it. Today I decided to download it again, and even though I was already signed in, it kept giving me error messages in a language I don’t speak. I checked the settings to make sure I had set them to English, and it was on English. The help button also displayed a language I don’t know. So I screenshot them and used the google lens translate. It said something about national regulations in January of 2020 (two years ago) and that I had to enter a real-name and ID number. I have absolutely zero clue what that is, and signing out didn’t help anything, because it gave me the same error messages in the same language. I’m very frustrated because this game was a lot of fun, and is absolutely my favorite mobile game of all time, but now it’s virtually unplayable. I deleted the game and will download it again to see if it works, but at this point I doubt it.

  • Awesome card crawler

The game is amazing, it takes a 5 or less minutes to get the hang of things, tons of different characters with each a unique playstyle. As well as the story and new diary modes there’s more ways to explore new cards and tactics. I would recommend this to anyone who’s getting into the deck builder games

  • Incredible!!

This is such an amazing rogue-like for mobile. In a way this game makes me sad because it makes every other mobile game I’ve played look like garbage. Very well fitting music lots of secrets just a like a good rogue-like should have but they all make sense and you don’t have to look up guides to figure them out. This game is very under appreciated and far surpassed my expectations. If I had to give any advice to developers it would be that I think this game should be free. I have no problem paying and I bought all the DLC and I think it is worth so much more than $0.99. However I think once you play this game it is so good that the dlc is really compelling and if more people got it then it would probably be more money in the long run. But I’m sure you guys have analytics or whatever and have thought about this. There were just a few typo’s on some of the card descriptions. Lastly I’m not sure how you intended this to work but some of the red hood dlc card when played on the normal game don’t seem to work perfectly. I got a card the gave me gold when I played cards that haven’t been played “this game” but this didn’t seem to work. Overall extremely minor nit-picks and this is the best $0.99 I ever spent

  • Needs work

It is a fun good game,However I keep on deleting it because of how unfair it can be. Because certain enemies are overpowered, they’re so broken and overpowered that it’s just unfair even on the easiest difficulty. You need to fix these issues. For example Tryst man or whatever it is, Guy with the rose. Not only does he have some overpowered cards in his own deck, but like every other turn he takes a cord out of your deck. Not to mention constantly is healing five Health. Even using both of my superpowers and starting the match at full health and having a pretty good deck of cards. The match dragged out until he literally took every single card in my deck. And this was on the easiest difficulty, that’s not fair at all. Fix your broken overpowered characters in this game

  • it won’t let me play

All the messages from the creators are in Chinese and now it’s asking me for real ID authentication and it’s asking for my name and an ID number but I don’t know what an ID number is. this game is from some eastern country (I can translate the language from Chinese to English so I think China) and I don’t know if China has ID numbers for there citizens, but I tired the example ID they gave and it didn’t work and it’s super long and then I tried the app ID but that didn’t work and someone please help me I just want to play this game I fell in love with and am low key addicted to please I’ll be really sad if I don’t figure out what stupid ID it’s asking for

  • I love it! But…

This game is incredibly addictive. The aesthetic and role play bring immersion. The gameplay and it’s loop are so fun to learn and master. However, if you play this game internationally, there is a problem. The game will require you to have a sort of national verification that international players don’t have. If you live in the US it will be difficult to play despite the game having US language settings. Hopefully this issue can be fixed.

  • Cool but continually broken

Neat game. I have purchased all the content (except a stupid piggy bank size expansion.) But every update there’s some problem or another.
They continually check for my Apple login to play the content I’ve already purchased and started playing (so you have to use cellular or Wi-Fi to even start/continue a game.) Most of the time their login fails and it won’t let me play my game. When it does fail it prompts me with a Chinese login screen even though I’m running the English version of the app.
They’ll fix it. Until their next “patch”…

  • Awesome little deck builder

I absolutely love this game. It’s beautiful, and the story is a cool twist. It doesn’t require you to spend a ton of money or grind for hours on end. It’s well balanced, and the devs seem to keep adding new content. I’ve seen very few spelling errors (for English), and the voice acting is a nice addition. I absolutely recommend this game if you’re looking for a mobile deck builder.
