  • Incredible

Incredible game. Immersive, I’ve sometimes even played until 5 am not even realizing what time it was.
The free version has 4 main characters/classes to choose from, each with their own abilities and uniqueness. You can play them over and over and with the varying cards each playthrough makes it original every time.
If you’re like me, and you’ve played the main 4 to death (haha), just 1 extra character is only 0.99 (I, personally, recommend the werewolf).

Without getting into spoilers, the game has a great storytelling element that keeps you wanting to play again just to see what you missed. 15/10 would recommend! 💕

  • Great game, totally worth its money

This game is a lot of fun for someone like me, who doesn't like to dive too deeply into card games like Hearthstone.
Gameplay is enjoyable and fun, and each replay feels totally different even with the same class, as there are so many options you can get for your deck/equipment/blessings. And if you want more challenge - check out locked Achievements, I bet they will keep you occupied for a while.
As title says, this game is totally worth its money.

  • Cant recommend enough!

First review I’ve ever written for an application or really any software/game ever so that tells you something. This is 100% the best mobile game I’ve ever payed and easily among the most fun games I’ve played to date, PC, Xbox, PS4, and Switch included. This game would be an instant recommendation at $10 but for what they’re asking for its an absolute steal. If you have even the slightest interest in it then do yourself a favor and pick it up. You won’t regret it.

  • Love the game and the updates

However I’m giving this a four star review because the main menu sometimes doesn’t appear on my screen. It’s frustrating because I can hear the music but everything else is blank. This is my first time leaving a review only for the sole purpose of addressing that issue with the game. Other than that I’ve had this game for a while and I’m still never bored because of all the variety of game play I can execute.
    Please fix.

  • I’m impressed

I’m actually impressed. The game is replayable with different classes. You can play: knight, ranger, witch, apothecary, magician, nun, soul hunter, and werewolf. There are two story sets though three if you count werewolf. Some of these options cost money but it’s not that expensive.

The music and sound effects are amazing and added to the effect of the game significantly.

I highly recommend it as a card game.

  • Loved...till it stopped working... (updated)

I absolutely enjoyed this game and even spent some money for additional content. But with the last few updates the game will no longer launch past the main screen. IF I can even get there, the came will immediately crash and close when I try to continue or access any menu.

Update: The most recent update seems to have fixed the crashing issue. Really do enjoy this game, so hoping the crashing is kept at bay.

Update #2: I let myself get too excited after the game started to work again. Made a couple more purchases and the game immediately started crashing again. Updated with the most recent update, but no change. I’ve tried to contact the devs, but I don’t speak Chinese(?) and that is the only language offered on their site. 😫😫😫

  • Great game! Here’s some advice

Great game! I think it’s so much fun! I have a few constructive critiques, hopefully they help:

I can’t buy the Red Hood Diaries for some reason, and am not sure why. I really want to, but whenever I press the button it says there is a network error.

I think it would be a good use of resources for the team to work on refining the English translations. Some of them are a bit rough, and a few are hard to understand

  • Solid Deckbuilder, a few issues

First of all, this is Dream Quest with genuine production value and some semblance of a story. There are tons of cards, replay value is great, and there is incremental progress through unlocking new abilities and cards. The art, music, sounds, and dialogue are all top notch.

That being said, I’ve had some issues playing the game. Network connectivity issues pop up a lot, and I even just tried purchasing one of the DLC character classes. The purchase went through, but there was an error unlocking it and I don’t have access to the character, even after restarting the game and trying to “restore” purchases.

Secondly, there are a handful of typos and glitches I’ve noticed. “Maximun” instead of “maximum” in a couple of places, and sometimes maximum health fluctuates for no reason. One card is supposed to add maximum health if you kill an opponent with it, but it actually subtracted max health instead.

I’ve really enjoyed playing the main game, and there are other game modes you can pay to unlock, but it’s impossible to tell what the game modes are like. If I can’t tell if it’s fun, I’m not going to buy it. I wish there was an “unlock all” purchase, because while I’m normally very stingy with mobile games, I’d be interested in buying access to everything. The one deluxe purchase to unlock all classes with a couple of minor add-ins isn’t really any kind of discount. Overall, still very worth buying this game!

  • Grrr

Its a really cool game and the battles are fun but the end adventure bosses are absolutely bs. One turns into a statue and you only get one shot to end him before he One hits you, then another auto activates an ability that blocks all damage when youre about to deal the killing blow, he then kills you because at this point youre generally pretty low on HP. Not to mention this same boss constantly regens and forces you to pick a debuff that weakens you. Although you can get a buff that heals you for a whopping 10 HP. In short: Rebalance the endgame bosses.

  • Excellent

A great single-player card-based rogue-lite. Lots of things to explore and do, with varied enemies, and distinct classes.

My only complaint other than several typos and translation errors is that the devs give you no way to report bugs other than Facebook; There are still some of us out here who refuse to use that particular data-theft platform. An email address, or better yet an in-game reporting feature, would be awesome.
