Works Perfectly
I see a lot of bad comments/reviews, I got my Lighting Digital AV Adapter today, I downloaded this app. Just like the instructions followed. Make sure to download the right archives and don’t forget that the adapter needs to be connected with the charger of your phone. Don’t work
Doesn’t even work I brought an adapter for my iPhone to watch movies to my tv and it doesn’t work like seriously fix your app to work properlytaryn2020
Update Work around
You have to install the update using a device that is working with the adapter. I tried multiple times with my iPad 6 gen without success. But the adapter was functioning with my iPhone 6. So I tried the update running with my iPhone, and it was finally successful. With the updated firmware, the adapter now works with my iPad.Show lessHimelspach

Need better instructions
I thought this was trash. After reading the reviews and all. Doing everything we could to get it to work. After enough reviews. Someone said to make sure you have the charger plugged in too!! Initially worked - but no longer
After purchase of the cable about 1.5 years ago it worked well with 2 different TV screens to show photos.
Plugging into me computer monitor showed the screen for version viii with the serial S500F2A1LG009V011. The app has a V012 which I downloaded and updated but it did not work on the computer screen and now no longer works on the TV screen either :-(Show lessA European
Doesn’t work. Cheap knock off
Have the right phone. Have the right gear. Followed all instructions to a T. Of course, they hardly make sense. Because someone ran the directions through 5 languages of google translate. The version given in the packing was NOT the same as the TV screen told me. I spent an hour trying to download and look for the right update. None of them worked. Not even the one with the matching serial number. You managed to find this app. Do yourself a favor. Return the dang thing. Just pay the extra price for the Apple brand. Don’t bother
It worked for 1 minute. Hasn’t worked since. Needs to have power connect at same time. Pretty sure it’s an Apple problem as they don’t support non-Apple devices. Much like some charges not charging cos it’s not genuine. :(Pinksnow2830
