Is there an update for S500F2A1LG009V003. ?Expected better from TM
Works...sorta.
Does mirror screen, so you can use for presentations, picture display, etc... but for some reason, when you try snd cast a video stream from disney+ or netflix type service, the app gives you an error and fails. Unplug the device from the dongle and the streaming service works fine instantly... so in summary: NOT a workaround way to use a mobile device to stream video to an HD TV that does not have internet/smartv capabilities. I tried this to get around the 2016 samsung tv firmware issue causing disney+ to fail... oh well. I will keep the dongle bc it was only like $15 and does offer some niche functionality i may find useful someday... but DOES NOT WORK for video streaming... really not sure why.Show lessMrowmrif2
Makes no sense...
So I managed to flash the single (which is utter rubbish by the way - audio and video out of sync) but I don’t know if I have the right version and no way to tell what series I have. Sending the dongle back and I hope I’ll never have the misfortune of using this app again. Its unintuitive and fiddly to figure out where all the firmware is and if you even are trying to install the right thing.Show lessHolyCrispyBacon

The app is pointless it tells me to update it and after i update it, it asks for the same update again and im talking about the inapp updates and does nothing afterwords, I connect my HDMI and my charger for my phone and nothing, funny thing is it works with one TV and asks me for an update on the other one best thing is the app support is in Chinese 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️Show lessFireMan726
It actually works!
Although the instructions were extremely vague I managed to make it work. The adapter must be charged at the same time. My tv is a bauhn and it worked perfectly with the adapter, the picture was fine as was the audio and didn’t suffer any damage to my iPhone7. But I wouldn’t recommend anyone to buy it as it was a hassle trying to figure it out.Show lessRinZyplaysgames

I was a bit concerned when I saw and read some of the negative reviews but I purchased this lightning digital AV adapter to use. So I took my chances and the necessary steps to get it synced through the app and update and it works for both my iPhone 7 Plus and my 5th gen iPad. No complaints hereI Rate and Angry
Working before now not working anymore
So I use to use this device to project on my screen as use it for presentation from my iPad. Now when I plug it in, it gives me a barcode. I proceed to scan the barcode and it takes me to download the app DrongCast, which I did and found a bunch of updates, however none of the updates matches mine S500F2A1LG009V012. So now I’m at a lost. Please help!Show less@gent smith

After reading all the terrible reviews I hesitated but noticed the opening screen number and also the position. This enabled me to look for a similar number and upgrade by doing what it said or was obvious.
It upgraded and worked erratically until I turned off phone and reconnected. So far so good.Gilo891

But Herman the Hermit is right, you must use the power cable. I thought it was to power my iPad, so I didn’t use it at first and got nothing. No, it powers the adapter and is essential for proper function. Also, it helps to use this program to get the firmware update.Paddy O'Tele
