Definitely not working with my iPhone 11
I’ve tried everything and yes I everything plugged in. At first my screen came on the tv. I was able to open Netflix select a move then Error. I pick something else to watch same error. Next thing you know my screen shows a barcode it takes me to this app. I download it configure whatever else it ask now nothing. I’m stuck with this goofy barcode on my tv now😕Show lessroro537
Complete waste of time and money
If the supplier meant this combination of adaptor and app to work with my iPad, then they failed. I get an instruction to download a firmware version that is not listed on their website i will not follow the foolhardy and random process of downloading and trying out other versions.
This is simply a poor product design, backed by no detectable level of service. To be avoided.
UPDATE because I bought two, I have now got one to work. And it’s no good. The video and audio through a TV are so far out of sync that it’s very distracting. Verdict: even more to be avoided.Show lessGareth1953

What is going on here?
I have a Newcare Digital HDMI VGA connector which I bought in January. It worked previously I tried to use it today, it did not. I used a QT scanner to read the link onscreen and downloaded this software. I was able to install the SERIES VII update, but know go. The only thing that has changed is the iOS. It still works on my wife’s phone (with the same update), but not under iOS 14.

This device at first I both it it work very well but then it not working no more it’s giving a number the is not listed in the app so I don’t know what is the problem with it. Almost Broke my T.V. And almost damaged my hearing!!!
So I had no choice but to use this app to try to use the HDMI cable I bought for my phone. I updated the software and while updating at around 47% my T.V. made a pop sound I didn’t think much of it after 5 seconds later at 57% the T.V. Started to make a very loud static sound, I was forced to shut of my T.V. and then my phone started making the sound as well. Wouldn’t recommend this app. Better of spending a extra $30 bucks more to get the official Apple one then having to spend another $400-6,000 on a new T.V.!!!Show lessRez_John
Lightning > HDTV Cable plug & play.
I have tried it on multiple TV’s but cannot get it to work. The scan code number that comes up on the screen is not recognised by the App.s500f
Works but little tricky
Took a while to figure out but this adaptor requires both the HDMI and the lightening capped to be connected in order to work, I tried with out plugging in the lightening and nothing would show up but after connecting both it worked.Qweruyu23
