So umm the game is very good but but not the best I am happy for the new update so far with the realms thingy but it the (bots) difficulties and how it's a little unfair but I would like to say I play on masters mode so it's understable but sometimes how the not mancanics don't make sense like how for example my fighters are 15K plus and the opposite is like 12k but I don't understand how they could beat me or leave me with like 30 ph left in my fighter plus they don't have bonus damage and my fighter is umbrella she I like 15-16k also the opposite is like 8k and some how I always end up dead or left with a unrealistic amount if health left and sometimes I noticed that when I'm in a game the timer sometimes gose out really fast and it been only 49 second sense the round began when I timed it myself, another thing is the levels there are very confusing like the level and the numbers on the fighter card are very high but I'm little confused on why that's there for like what does it stand for I think it was damage but then someone told me that how much points you can gain or other more so it's confusing me a lot more so I realry play anymore please help 😭Show lessSuki bookiebear

Hi, We try to make sure there's always something to do in Skullgirls regardless of your character strength. If you get stuck in Story Mode, try out Daily Events or Prize Fights! Actually playing the game is great, it takes a while to get used to the combat but once you have it down you’re hooked! The art style and creative alleys are amazing! The story is interesting and the characters have great back stories. It’s truly intriguing and I hope to see more lore as it comes. As stated the greed kills the game, there’s tons of pop ups for you to spend money with random percentages “900% value!!!!” It’s genuinely annoying and here’s a secret… your money? Means nothing in this game. Even in gacha games like GI and PGR there’s a way to actively get premium currency AND get high ranking characters. Here? I’ve been playing for about 3 months and haven’t got a diamond, I’ve spent over $150 rolled dozens of times and no diamond. IF you get this game DO NOT spend money. If anything get the battle pass once you FINISH it. I cannot give a game where your money gets you nothing 5 stars and the sheer greed brings it down as well.
If you don’t spend money and don’t chase after diamonds and even golds most of the time then you’ll have fun. You’ll just progress slowly cause there’s an upgrade system in place where you NEED to roll to upgrade your bronze to silver to gold to diamond. The devs don’t care about the game anymore it’s just here to squeeze every penny.Show lessJosh__2314

Hi, Sorry you consider the game pay to win. We try very hard to make sure the game is fully enjoyable by both free to play users and those that want to spend some money. We do have a system to eventually collect a free guaranteed Diamond. Every fighter you earn gives you shards. Collect enough Diamond Shards from gold fighters and you get a free Diamond Relic. I’d like to start off by saying that this is the best mobile fighting game I’ve ever played in the last four years. The way I’ve seen this game grow in that time span, I think it’s about time I gave Skullgirls their flowers. I mean I could go into detail about what they’ve done to earn that title from me, but I feel like you just have to download the game and experience the greatness for yourself… Sike I lied! Just know that this game can be pay to win or grind to earn. With the recent updates of daily free gifts and the special ops bonuses, I feel like there’s just no way that you can say Skullgirls doesn’t give me enough Gold or Theonite to do what I have to do… They do but you just have to grind for it. If you don’t feel like grinding, there is definitely an option to pay and get over that gap. The way that this game has developed from season zero like no other mobile fighting game has done is amazing! I hope they continue to develop and truly show others that they are the best.

Game is amazing, im sure you read alot of compliments in reviews and i do have the same compliment as the other reviews do. But the game should have more modes and content that makes it not get boring over time, ofc you cant make it forever entertaining as everything has a start and end at some point, but this game is great at the early periods, where you just discover out the new stuff and eventually up until a point which for me was level 30, everything gets repeatitive and basically we re just doing the same thing over and over to get a new stronger better char just to do the same thing over and over until we get the next upgrades and stuff, that is the part where people quit the game. Therefore i suggest adding more fun modes and chars and upgrades and stuff instead of adding more grinding materials for us to grind🥹. I love the game for its style, char designs, and how unique every char is, this is my suggestion thank you for having the effort to read it🙏.Show lessEthanthechad

I’m actually suprised at how good this game is. I especially enjoy the unique physical movement of each characters during the fight. The artstyle are also really clean and fun to look at. However raising xp for characters is so hard and there are no (permanent) ingame shop with ingame currency that lets u buy those fishes , meatball or squid to instantly raise xp and power up. And here’s another case… i got a lot of those in the beginning but i spent it for some bronze characters that their level reached 30. But after i evolved one of my fav character to silver… they are back to lvl 1!!! Did i just wasted all those resources for nothing and have to rebuild this character again?! Her power was alrd 600ish and now it’s back to 100ish. There’s also a daily mission to get those resources but it’s just really hard to pass for early players, 3 on 3 n their powers are mostly 1000ish each.
Also the gacha rate is kinda sad- i haven’t got gold characters at all, not to mention any diamonds. I was fine with that tho since u can just evolve your fav babies, it’s just when i thought of raising and finally evolving one of my silvers to Gold or even diamonds but then had to start over grinding from lvl 1 again…..
So i think i’ll drop this game, but it’s really enjoyable game nonetheles and i feel the passion through this game, so i think it’s worth to be recomended and still 5 stars, goodluck!.Show lessSatyadhipta

Hi, Thank you so much for your feedback! We will be sure to relay this to the team to make sure your ideas are heard. Sorry you haven't gotten the fighters you're looking for. We do have a system where every Bronze Fighter you earn gives you Silver Shards. Collect enough Silver Shards and you get a free Silver Relic. You can also earn Gold and Diamond Shards this way. Eventually you'll be guaranteed Silvers, Golds and Diamonds. Best Regards, ~HVS~Deleted it.
The game is definitely five star! Like 100% it’s great! The only reason I’m giving it 3 though is cause the people who play the game bring it down. People in here are so toxic and talk sexual A LOT. The filter is super easy to get around. There pretty much is no filter! But if the devs hang in Channel 0 for a day you’ll see what I mean… these people make the game seem like it should be rated mature! That’s the only issue with this game I have is it’s just the people. Now for my suggestion! I’ve played through all the basic story lines and I saw quite a few characters I thought the devs could totally add to the game as playable characters! I’ll name them off: D. Violet, Hive, Leduc, Brain Drain, Talisin, Beatrix, Feng, Marie, Molly, Christmas, and Hallow! They’re all a part of the story but they’re not characters you can collect and play with. (Honestly I want D. Violet in added the most!) I hope you’ll see this suggestion and consider adding them! All in all the game is great! The in it people not so much…
Update: I’m here to report you devs need to check out Chan0 PLEASE. These people constantly harass other players! Also I don’t know what I did but my account got suspended??? Why?! What did I do????? I absolutely love this game! The variety of characters, artwork and music are honestly some of the best I've seen in games. You don't have to spend money to get or do anything, which is amazing considering there's alot of games you have to spend money to actually get anywhere in the game. The gems could take a little while to save up to get a x10 spawn but it isn't anything too ridiculous, gems are fairly easy compared to what it could be.
But my only concern is how long it takes to level up characters; I can't even finish daily events to get more xp materials because only one or two of my characters are even a semi-high level, so the CPU's easily defeat even my best fighters. I just wish that xp materials were a little easier to achieve.
But overall it's a very good game and I definitely would recommend giving it a try!Show lessme onviously
Perfect but some suggestions
So I have not had skullgirls for a long time now and I already love it. However I have some ideas that might make the game better like I really like the animations and styles of the characters, it’s really creative. But I’m suggesting you add more male characters cuz there are like 2 or 3 male characters in the whole game u can get. I haven’t completed story mode yet so there might be more but for now this is it. Another thing I would like to add is how you get multiple of the exact same character which is annoying. I have 5 sundae school doubles (all bronze) and nothing to do with them. I suggest you add an option where you can merge 2 or more of the exact same character to make them stronger and to save space, thanks for making the time to read this review! 🍪 (cookie for you)Show lessSpaghetti is my name
Each Time I’m Back I Remember Why I Quit
This game is intensely infuriating. The rules are broken if you begin doing too well and the anger or frustration created entices people to play longer than they’d like. For example when playing prized fights I been back on Skullgirls since a day before the update. Xenomorph Double died but didnt trigger her ability to place 3 stacks of bleed. An ability I hinged my strat on and thus lost my streak 2 days ago. Then 20minutes ago I challenge a 119k team and they had a Beowolf. They spammed the wolf shoot attack because the recharge delay was 1 to 2 seconds! They didnt even have Harlequin Cerebella on the team! To new or prospective players this may read like jibberish. But as you get used to the game mechanics you become accustomed to a level of fairness but sometimes Skullgirls in a bid to maintain your attention will force a Loss down your throat so now you spend another 30 minutes to an hour recovering from your losses. Controller support suggestion.
I realize this is a long shot but, I’ve been playing this game for about 2 years and have absolutely enjoyed it. Lately I haven’t been able to play like before, I have a messed up screen (not broken) and a few touch inputs don’t go through leading me to lose a high streak on a prize fights and rift battles causing me to quit the game for a few weeks. I understand not very many people have my problem, I would want controller support not just because I have shoddy touch screen but because I’d really like to use a controller to play SGM and I feel that a few other people feel the same way. I would also like to say thank you to the devs for continuing to support this game it has brought me hours on hours of entertainment. 💙Show lessThe Threeio
